“huh — why wouldn’t i be?” the question itself is one that strikes odd. leaves him blinking almost owlishly in response & until finally, something gives & luffy’s shrugging, opting to reach across the table & secure another turkey leg, or two. “what’s wrong with being weird? weird is good.” it meant she wasn’t boring.

it was common for the female to be one kindling the mute prose , for she was selectively mute . the male had sent her rather more into the depths of speechless with the way he had been nonchalant about his words . it wasn’t the way he spoke but what he spoke of . never before had she been spoken to in such an optimistic way on her “ weirdness “ . it left her puzzled . this lasted some time , head tilted as ethereal eyes stared at the other . then , it was back to apathy . curiosity gone . curiosity settled . ⸻ he accepted for whom he was .
