THE LADDER EXERCISE: MANIFESTATION SUCCESS STORY
So, I had a success with testing out the law of assumption today that I wanted to share with you all to give you some inspiration! I want you guys to try this too so you can see for yourself and prove that manifestation is real and that you are very powerful and that your 3D really is just a reflection of your thoughts!
When Neville Goddard was teaching the law, he came up with 'the ladder exercise', whereby he instructed his students to imagine/visualise themselves climbing a ladder for 3 nights in a row as they went to sleep. The purpose of this exercise was for his students to prove to themselves that the law is real and that manifestation is real.
The instructions Neville gave his students were:
1. Decide what your ladder looks like and feels like. Is it tall or short? What material is it made of - metal or wood? What does this ladder feel like as your climb it? What do YOU feel (physically) when you climb it?
2. Write on a piece of paper 'I will NOT climb a ladder' and put it somewhere where you will see it every day. This will represent the 3D reality opposing your desire, and you persisting anyway and ignoring the fact that the 3D is telling you that you won't climb a ladder.
3. Fall asleep every night for three nights climbing the ladder in your imagination. Climb up the ladder and back down, then repeat it. Imagine what it feels like, feel it as if it is really happening.
4. You should expect to climb a ladder somehow in the 3D, just like you imagined, however you cannot force this. This will happen in a way that seems almost coincidental! Something super random will probably happen in your 3D that ends up requiring you to get on a ladder, and then you'll just realise 'oh crap, I manifested this'. Go about your life and if you happen to think about it or remember it, just know that you will climb a ladder somehow and continue going on with your day.
Now, to the success story.
The past few days I have spoken to many followers who have been asking about how to stay motivated and how to have faith and know your manifestation is coming. One of my tips is, of course, to test our manifestation on things that you don't have much resistance or attachment to that you would know for sure was a product of your manifestation if it happened in the 3D.
Well, I decided I wanted to take my own advice and do this myself with the ladder exercise. I had never done it before and it has been a very long time since I've purposely done a little test with manifestation, and I wanted to do this to share a success with you guys for some motivation!
Last night as I went to bed, I visualised climbing a ladder. I am currently in lockdown and I'm not leaving the house much at all other than exercise, if that, so it didn't seem like it would be a normal thing for me to end up climbing a ladder since I'm always inside, right? Plus, I never climb ladders anyway. I often try to avoid it because I don't really like heights, even small ones.
So, I was in bed, imagining what my ladder felt like and how tall it was. I settled for a smaller ladder, because lord knows I would be too scared to climb a tall ass ladder. The material was metal. I imagined what it felt like to go up and down the ladder, I imagined lifting my body up with every step, trying to maintain my balance (because to me, climbing ladders is a little bit scary and I worry about losing my balance hahaha). It's pretty safe to say that I felt the experience pretty realistically as I went to sleep last night.
Anyway, I woke up today and honestly completely forgot about it, because I was so busy doing work all day. Then this evening I was unpacking groceries with my mother and sister, and I was trying to reach for something in the back of the cupboard and I had to rearrange some things to fit the shopping in. I made a comment about how hard it was to reach and then my sister said 'get the ladder from the cupboard so you can do it properly'.
I started walking to the cupboard to get this ladder and then I literally just stopped in my tracks. I froze and I realised that this was my manifestation. I was in literal shock and excitement. I still get so happy when this stuff manifests because it only fuels me up more and gives me stronger faith in the law!
I climbed up the ladder exactly as I had in my imagination, slowly, afraid I'd lose balance, and I rearranged the stuff in the cupboard, then I climbed back down and put the ladder back.
This is the first time in almost a year that I have had to climb a ladder.
This was no coincidence, this was a manifestation of my thoughts.
I didn't even write 'I will not climb a ladder' on a piece of paper or anything, I didn't even do it for 3 nights.
This was a literal overnight manifestation, and if my confidence in my manifesting abilities wasn't already high, it sure is now!
I ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO TRY THIS EXERCISE AND PROVE TO YOURSELF THAT IT IS REAL! WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE?

What is a self concept?
The understanding you have of yourself based on what you believe.
So for example, if you think life is unfair, life will be unfair to you. If you think people always mistreat you, people will mistreat you.
If you think everyone loves you and people worship the ground you walk on, people will act in order to your self concept.
This is why self concept is so important, it dictates your entire life.
Is having a good self concept necessary to manifest?
No, it’s not. But it is HIGHLY recommended.
What are the benefits of having a good self concept?
Once you have established a good self concept you can go on manifesting more freely, you become more independent and you have less fears when it comes to manifesting- not to mention faster manifestations, self love, you apply the law of assumption much more easily. a better view in life in general, and best of all YOU KNOW your self worth and you know anyone who you come across will give you the utmost respect. Self concept doesn’t just apply to the law of assumption, it applies to everything in your world. Start seeing yourself as worthy of all the great things in the world, because you deserve it- once you start doing so all the beautiful things in life will come through, nothing will trigger you- certainly not the 3D.
Good self concepts
“I can never manifest, the law of assumption is too hard for me.” turn that around to → “i always manifest so quickly and easily and the law of assumption is easy asf”.
If you start affirming that manifesting is hard for you, it will show up in your reality and manifesting WILL BECOME DIFFICULT! Now say you’re affirming how easy it is for you well..it's pretty clear what the end result will be, manifesting will become easy for you. you also have to consider it long tierm- start affirming better things in your self concept it will show up in all your aspects of life repeatedly and forever.
Bad self concepts
A bad self concept is a mindset with a lot limtimg beliefs, and contain a lot of assumptions that may do you harm.
Having a bad self concept can interfere with your manifestation.
For example, let’s say you’ve manifested an SP. Everything is going good, until one day he decides to treat you like shit and ghost you. You currently have the assumption that all men are trash, people mistreat you and your love life is terrible. Your SP acted ACCORDING TO YOUR SELF CONCEPT.
How do I manifest a good self concept?
There are many ways you achieved a good self concept. You can either:
Affirm.
This is probably the most popular way that people use to get a good self concept.
Around 3-4 times a day, repeat your self concept affirmations and affirm with confidence and authority. Do this every day and whenever you think of your desire.
Here are 50 self concept affirmations you can use. Pick a few that you like and start to affirm them everyday.
Visualization
You can visualize having a good self concept. You can visualize telling a friend how good your self concept is, or visualise yourself being confident. Those are just examples.
Visualize anything that implies your desire.
You can either visualize right when you wake up, during the day, or before you go to bed.
Subliminals
There are plenty of subliminals that could help you get a good self concept. However, you must remember, subliminals are simply a TOOL.
You can either listen to subliminals throughout the day, listen to one at light while you’re sleeping, or both.
Mediation
Get into a comfy place and close your eyes, and begin to breathe in and out.
In between each breath, repeat your affirmations, and get lost in that beautiful feeling of calmness and relief.
Assumption
You can just assume you have an amazing self concept. Probably the easiest and fastest way.
Summary
your self concept is the most important thing while manifesting
it’s not necessary to have a good self concept in order to manifest
a good self concept keeps your manifestion stable, gives you self love, confidence and helps you to manifest faster
