Something i believe in...no not fortune cookies, that i will overcome my hardships in life, and in the end i may find happiness, whether i keep it in my life or not is entirely up to me, we all have a choice, and we all make them on a daily basis, this is where the important decisions lay... in what we want and what we will do to make these things come true..Only then will we truly be overwhelmed with happiness...hopefully one day it hits me and never leaves...but then THAT IS ALL UP TO ME ^.^

so the night of MONDAY lol and the most unexpected drinking night yet lol 

So we hit up a bar, that apparently is really good ? when we got there, it was so good there was no seats, so we went to another place not too far from it, got some soju bottles, some hite pitchers, and some coke and we were set and ready to begin the drinking lol...started off slowly with some korean games, and some English ones too, id say by far the "dirty signs" game had to be the funniest of the night ~! got to the point where we were standing up and doing the signs and then quickly down for the next person to go ~! hahahaha some of us were getting more wasted then others LOL those who will not be named lol but yeah...had our fun at that bar...after a few bumped tables, some misplaced chairs, and a few broken cups we were onto the next one :)

after a few drunk songs, a broken soju bottle, 2 broken microphones, and refills on the drinks we were cranking the songs like nobodys business haha yeaaaaa, for about an hour we were good, drinking and singing the korean songs, aw yeaaaaaa lol was good to just sing and drink with some good people, so much funny shit happened here and in between the next place and this one...

So Monday - unplanned day, so we decided to go to Tongdaemoon to do some shopping and meet up with some friends, so the girls went shopping and we decided to go watch Thor ~! this movie is actually really good :) i enjoyed it...was dope seeing Hawkeye in it tho for reals, mean buzzy haha...met one of friends, Korean friend who lives here, so it was good to meet up with some of the locals ~! Anyways check out what i found to eat outside the movie theater ~! 

a hot dog covered in French Fries, this was crazy, lol although the taste of chips once again was soooooo good, haha haven't had some good fish and chips since i left NZ lol not complaining though,so no worries, but yeah can't say much for the inside of this hotdog but i definitely enjoyed my time eating these chips :) 

So after watching the movie we decided to grab something to eat ~! the first place we walked into, drank the water, and looked at the prices hahaha wow so expensive, i don't normally do it, but we walked out ahahha way to expensive for something we could get around the corner for half the price LOL so after walking as far away as possible from the last place we found somewhere to sit down and get some grub ~!

hmmmmmm Sam giap sal and makoli :) no better way to have dinner, with good friends, so from here we were joined by another Korean counter part :) who was very kinda and coincidentally stayed in New Zealand for a year or so ~! so her english was good, and her humor was even better haha gotta love people who understand us Kiwis lol hard to find people like that here in korea :P

So after this we headed out to drop our things off and begin our night out ~! LOL another post is required for this ~! lol

So finished up Sunday night in a board Game cafe :) we played some monkey catching game, some Jenga and some other crap..LOL was just a time filler, hahaha so we decided to hit a DVD bong room after, wasn't a bad experience, hella hot coz 5 of us went hahaa but yeah definitely gotta choose the right movie ahahaha we watched the o.g LET ME IN which wasn't too bad, would have preferred Hostel or something but that's just me :P left here around 3am and home to sleep ready for the next day ~! yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

SO...after Buddahs birthday celebrations we carried onto Insadong to get something to eat :) what better thing to eat then 닭갈비 

We found a nice little place to eat at, and got out grub on...heres some pics, il keep this one short and sweet since it's nothing but eating hahaa even though its one of the most important things to do on holiday `! enjoy the cultural meals and enjoooooooooooy......heres some flicks ~! 

As you can see we were more then ready for that meal hahaa and so much that i didn't take a picture of the food, my badd, only the before shot, with our nice aprons so that we don't stain our clothes with all this good food....LOL 

+ one amazing thing i saw while on the way here...THE BIGGEST MUSSELS ULL EVER SEE ~! well il ever see hahaha there like mussels on steroids i think...hmmmm some people would love this back home LOL

Okay so after the long afternoon of chilling we decided to head to Buddahs birthday - and the lantern festival parade thing that followed..

So when we got out of the subway there were some killer lanterns, like that big tiger up there :) so yeah we took some pics and enjoyed the view...heres some of the lanterns we came across ~! .....

after checking these out we walked in further and realized there was a parade going down..so we stayed for a bit ~! and we were lucky enough to check out this huge man walking styled Tiger, u know like the ones in the movies controlled by 100 chinese men, lol well kinda like that ~! it was crazy long and big also. one of the Best ive seen actually, so yeah definitely enjoyed the parade :) there were other people dressed up and had drums and what not ~! even manage to get a candy lollipop from one of the girls in the parade WOOHOO lol then she got mobbed by koreans to give her one too hahaha poor girl :P heres some pics...

gotta put some videos up of this bad boy ^^soon enough :) anyways ended the parade and headed to Insadong for dinner, but before leaving we found some toys to play with, slingshot like toys with a helicopter blade on top and a neon light to watch it coming down ~! was pretty fun playing with these...LOL

Okay so i kinda forgot how day 3 went...lol so im just going in order of the photos on my phone..hahahaha my badd...anyways 

So we somehow ended up at the Hi-Seoul festival, which was pretty cool, some of the girls were jamming around the long stream of water they had going through the park, was a nice hot day so good to relax and catch up on some well needed rest :) 

found this dope big ass tent with like cushions and stuff, kinda reminded me of the telecom tree back home in Auckland with the big bean bags and stuff, was exactly like that so we decided to chill out here, lay down, and get some rest :) we played some whack as games...wiht the blow up sticks from the baseball game. lol il have the video up soo enough :) pics are easier at the moment haha 

anyways this was a good place to just enjoy the sun and the scenes, kids running around in the water, and people enjoying each others company :) which is exactly what we were doing..Then on to the next parts of our day yeaaaaaaaa enjoy ~!

Day 2: of the long weekend

Baseball ~! never get sick of this sport here in Korea and never leave a game un-happy because of the result lol there's no doubt ~! hahaha anyways this game was the Doosan Bears (my team) and the Lotte Giants (team who wears plastic bags on there heads) LOL hi hater ^.^ lol but anyways, got some good seats, right in the back, packed our bags with beer and some good old KFC chicken ~! got our bangers ( the things u hit together) and headed to our seats, we had good seats by the entertainment section this time lol heres the view from our seats...

so this game had all the emotions of a relationship LOL or so i like to compare hahahaah :P check it out 

The build up - Going to the game was like going to a date, expecting big things and nothing but fireworks and butterflies lol 

The fairy tail beginning, so we started off good, a few home runs and we were in there with the chants the screams and the laughter :) enjoying the moment ~! 

Then all of a sudden the other team scores 3 home runs in one innings, its like coming back down to earth and realizing things aren't as good as they once were 

the good and the bad, so by now the beers kicking in, and emotions are running wild, the score is going back and fourth and its so damn close ~! literally sitting on the edge of chairs ~! 

The Final moment - bottom of the 8th were ahead by One...and we change our pitcher, who just went 3 innings without conceding any runs....WHAT A FCUKN crucial mistake hahahaha so like some relationships it went down hill we lost the game and we all left semi mad hahahaa but ohwell ~! definitely a dope as experience hahahaha yeaaaaa check out the picture of despair

Ohwell was a good game :) enjoyed it none the less, lets hope they win the next one or else im gonna be pissed hahahah ~! heres our little crowd that went :)

Start of the long weekend: Friday night was World Dj Festival in Seoul 

Im gonna keep these posts as short as possible...so after a long mission of getting to the venue, we manage to rock up around midnight ish, bought 2 beers before entering the venue, skulled them and then met up with everyone else. This place was pumping with DJ's, people, and all these crazy shufflers and boppers and what not lol, the atmosphere was crazy and the rain held out thank good ness ~!!!! Started off with some frozen coke yagers, lol thats what i call them coz thats what they looked like, hit up a room with alotta people and started jamming away...

After some hard core jumping around and working up a sweat, we chilled to some more of this music, and had a look around, they had kebab stands there, that smelt so good, nachos, chili fries, so after stocking up on some food we were on the move again...Jumping from one place to the next..heres some pics from the outside ~! 

After a solid 6-7 hours we were ready to head home, and by this time the rain started pouring down, it wasn't to badd lol so was walkable, here's the funniest thing, heading back to Seoul with everyone else who was at the festival, if u can't imagine a whole bunch of people cramming onto the train then here's a photo to help ur imagination lol...Enjoy, this was the end of Day 1 of this long and most joyful weekend ~!
