I don’t think anyone will see this but I need to rant lol. I don’t think using sexual assault or self harm or scuicide in fanfics as a plot point should be a thing. I always see it and I haven’t experienced sexual assault but I know if I did I wouldn’t want to see people romanticizing it on the internet. Same thing with suicide and self harm. I don’t think it’s cute to see people write A/Us about the reader trying to like kill them self’s only for the character to take them in there arms and “love the sadness away” I personally think it’s harmful and upsetting that that’s how people view topics like that. I know this is never the reason people write about that stuff but I hate the romanticisation of serious topics that people actually deal with. I’m sorry if this is to long or whatever but I just wanted to rant about this.
