A lot of fans were asking about the meaning behind “Melanin Handsome” when the tracklist came out. In Korea and Asia in general, a lighter skin complexion is perceived as more beautiful. Sik-k being of a more darker complexion wanted to say that darker skin is beautiful as well 😎

Anonymous asked: Helllo! Can I request a college au with sik-k?  where they have like an big exam soon and sik-k needs the reader to help him and they get close and it’s really fluffy? thank you!

    “Excuse me.”

    You looked up, quickly swallowing the bite of food you were chewing, surprised to see one of your computer science classmates standing behind you. “What’s up?”

    “Professor Park said I should get a study buddy for CS before the exam and he recommended you; any chance you have time?”

    You considered. “Sure, when do you want to get started?”

    “I’m done with classes at 3:30; maybe we could do something after that?” he said. “I’m Minsik by the way.”

    “That sounds good,” you said, “Nice to meet you!” you shook his proffered hand and introduced yourself. “I’m done at 4:00, so do you want to meet at the library or something?”

    “Sounds good.”

    When you walked into the back of the library where the small study rooms were, Minsik was already there. You knocked lightly on the room’s glass door and then slid it open. “Hey!” he said, quickly closing Facebook.

    You raised an eyebrow. “I saw that.”

    He laughed, seeming totally unembarrassed by your calling him out. “It was worth a try.”

    “True,” you said, chuckling as you sat down next to him. “Okay. So… Where do you want to start?”

    “Well, I’m having the most trouble with Javascript,” he said.

    You nodded. “Sure. We’ll start there then.” You slid your computer out of your backpack and opened it, clicking open the text editor you frequently wrote code in. “How about… ‘if’ statements?”
