i feel like we take for granted that the ace attorney anime shows us the exact moment miles edgeworth falls in love with tokusatsu. it ends up being a lifelong special interest of his despite every single aspect of that idea clashing with what we know of him. it's one of the most charming parts of his personality, one that makes you think 'how the FUCK did this guy get into toku?' because he seems like a man who only knows his work and was born with a law book in his hand. and they just SHOW you! they SHOW you him falling in love! that's so special. i wish i could go back in time and watch the exact moment i fell in love with my lifelong fandoms. there's a sense of wonder and satisfaction in watching it through miles, though.

the fact that it not only shows him falling for it but actively kinning is just the fucking cherry on top for me. i still can't believe aa gave us a kinnie love story.
