Dvalin, as a dragon is very possessive of his Things™, which includes his companion Venti. This fact is even more exacerbated when other dragons are added into the mix.

He absolutely HATES Rex Lapis, he’s convinced the geo archon is trying to steal Venti from him (Whether he’s right or not is up to you), so whenever Venti has to be in Zhongli’s presence he’s grumpy and clingy with him.

Just imagine an archon meeting where Venti’s sitting at the table with a giant grumpy dragon behind him, glaring at Zhongli (Who is completely aware of why he’s acting this way because he understands dragon things).

You can choose if this is like a protective big brother vibe or more Zhongli/Venti/Dvalin love triangle.

Personally I like this vibe VVV

Archons don’t only watch over their country, they also watch over their chosen domain. Rex Lapis watches over contracts, Raiden Ei watches over eternity and Barbatos watches over freedom.

When an archon’s domain is encroached upon or threatened they are within their rights given by Celestia to do what they see fit to protect it.

Venti senses the freedom of Sumeru’s young archon has been threatened and he takes measures to return it to her.

Or

Venti goes full blown protective mama bear on Nahida’s behalf, he’s always been fond of birds and can’t stand to see them caged.

Bonus points:

- Venti in full archon form shows himself to Sumeru to chew them out for how they’ve treated their archon.

- The sages get what’s coming to them.

- Some Sumeru characters reacting to what happens.
