It makes literally anything but scrolling on your phone seem difficult and joyless. But if you stop scrolling on your phone all the time, and start like, reading or embroidering or gardening or going for walks, you will eventually find the joy in them once more

I understand and it is true that it is hard to have a life outside work and scrolling but there is not a near future where that won’t be the case and you should still live a life. And you won’t create a future where that isn’t the case if you don’t have the confidence and experience and drive to fight for it

i actually think applying the terms “gen 1” and “gen 2” is so reductive that i’ve been trying to cut back on my casual usage of the terms so engraved into me because of well. constantly being surrounded by that method of organization as a pokemon fan, lol. and it works for most of the franchise but gens 1 and 2 are really not gens 1 and 2 and it would be more accurate to describe them as one generation, honestly. they work as a package and the way the two interact with each other + the way they are a closed ecosystem together cut off from the rest of the franchise is a lot different from other pokemon generations and is particularly unique
