Day 30 #lbdproject2018 It was the last work day of March and the last day I wear this shirt for all five days of work.... It wasn't so bad but I did feel a spark of joy looking at other shirts in my closet knowing that when I go back to work next week they'll be back in circulation. At the same time, with the a pair of black slacks, three skirts, a pair of jeans and various scarves, it seemed like plenty to wear.... Which has me thinking I can probably pare down my wardrobe (not that it's all that huge anyway). But how much stuff do I need? It has been a great start to a new journey. And I hope and pray that the changes I'm making along with changes others are making will help to bring freedom to captives. ………………………………... Day 27 #lbdproject2018 4 Days left. Only 4. But that just means March 2018 and lbdproject2018 are over. The fight for Freedom will continue on long after. Learning more about modern day slavery and things you can do, can continue on if you so choose. For me, I don't want this to fall by the wayside until next March. Day 25 #lbdproject2018 One thing I'm reminding myself is that change can take time. And making small changes that I can keep up with is better than trying to make a lot of large changes that I end up giving up on. I also had to revisit this one (the picture). "Cheap and disposable".... This is the mindset I want to change in myself. I want to seek and see value. I have value. Others have value. People I don't know have value. This earth, animals and people have value; none are disposable. If it's broken, fix it. Don't just throw it away.... What a different mindset. I trust it'll be worth any sacrifices I choose to make to gain this mindset. It's a journey. ………………………………... Smoothies for breakfast this week (and possibly going forward). Green all week. Changing it up today. What are your favorite smoothies combos? During the week: full fat yogurt, frozen mango, pineapple, and grapes, spinach and bone broth powder. Today: sweet potato, beet, banana, apple, full fat yogurt, ginger, cinnamon, and bone broth powder.

Two of the three things for dinner tonight, at one point in my life, I never would've thought I'd be eating. Beet greens (which I have had before but only in the last year) and sardines. I think beet greens are my favorite greens. IMO more flavorful than spinach or kale. And the sardines I got are actually really tasty. I always imagined they'd be awful. These suckers were a lot bigger than I thought they'd be too. Feeling a little rough from the antibiotics so I wanna a little rice (BRAT diet) but I also wanted some taste and nutrition. I think this works.
