I mean, the people in backpacks being armor is a reasonable stretch; because honestly lugging around a backpack full of stuff, especially if it’s a lot of stuff or just heavy stuff, is pretty tiring and back-killing if you gotta carry it around all day (regardless of whether or not you’re used to carrying heavy things.
