bathroom torment is very real ideally we would all just be allowed to go piss without worry but its not always so simple

#unisex as much as possible otherwise mens or just dont piss at all #last time i used a womens restroom at the airport (why does sfo not have unisex bathrooms????) #a lady took one look at me and said 'wrong one 🤨' so uh i guess thats over for me (<- not even on t yet??) #its scarey tho

the idea that restrooms, locker rooms, etc need to be single-sex spaces in order for women to be safe is patriarchy's way of signalling to men & boys that society doesn't expect them to behave themselves around women. it is directly antifeminist. it would be antifeminist even if trans people did not exist. a feminist society would demand that women should be safe in all spaces even when there are men there.

sucks that if you show someone your cool new bruise they usually say something like "yeowch!" or "oh no how did you get that?" instead of ooh so pretty i like the shape & colors
