Billie Eilish - Happier Than Ever (Darkroom, 2021) Only just 21, Eilish has already established herself as a creative force with remarkable popular success married to boundary-pushing creativity. Seemingly incapable of being inauthentic, she also uses great artistry, in collaboration with her brother Finneas, to alchemize her life into musical gold. Both of her albums made it into my Top 25 and I would be listening g even if she wasn’t a multi-platinum selling, stadium-filling artist. Bob Dylan - John Wesley Harding (Columbia, 1969/86) If you take a close look at the first picture, you’ll notice my father’s florid and somewhat satirical inscription: “To my Valentine, Normacita, Bob Dylan, & and your Lord & Master Rabainu Chaim Shatan, N.Y.C., 2/14/69.” Yes, my parents were big fans of 60s music, especially The Beatles, Dylan, and Simon & Garfunkel.
