can we all remember a little something about josh washington’s past his mental illness developed when he was seven, or at least that is what the doctors deduced. he was institutionalized for the first time in 2006, at age eleven. the medicines they started him off on were incorrectly diagnosed, making him physically ill. theses medicines and supplements were changed frequently because of adverse reactions. at one point, young josh was basically living in a hospital because they couldn’t balance a growing boys hormones. he had been on antidepressants and mood stabilizers so long that his mood levels had plateaued; he couldn’t get happier even though he wasn’t getting sadder. his father is a film producer and thus was never home, so he began to rely on his sisters. after his sisters ‘disappeared’ in 2013, he spiraled into an irreversible depression, and a suicide attempt was marked on his medical record. this attempt caused his psychiatrists to rework his medicines yet again, despite the fact that they had finally been working, and the new pills made him physically ill again. so josh stopped taking his pills shortly before the second lodge trip. he had a psychotic break, and basically broke down. before you go blaming him with no remorse, think of this, then form an opinion.

The few things I DO know

As explained before.. I can't remember shit. I subconsciously block out almost everything that happens to me, but here's some of the things I've found out since being here.

• Mild Hallucinations: I'll see things sometimes, mostly at night. If the area is heavily wooded it's worse.

• Nightmares about Chris specifically: Bro please stop dying I can only take so much shit

• Ashley hates me: and I'm not too fond of her either...

• Food is weird: I'll normally eat pretty much everything but sometimes eating meat makes me gag and feel nauseous now, I lean to veggies.

• Mild Insomnia: I sleep decent but I wake up generally more exhausted, the bags under my eyes are getting worse...

• No Homo: I Tried to set up Chris and Ashley to get over my crush on him bc I was afraid of coming out.

• I smell like Lavender and Coconut

Here's a long winded story

I showed up here, I couldn't really talk. I was described as like a cat, I barely remember it. I barely remember anything, that's the problem. I'm here, but I don't remember. I've always been good at that, blocking things out of my memories on accident.

I know I didn't make it out, I know I was rescued later, but beyond that I really just don't remember shit. It's exhausting.

But like... if you wanna chat hmu. Maybe someone will remember me.. 🤷🏻‍♂️
