TzTok Jad was the strongest monster in the game almost three years ago. Its name roughly translates as "Obsidian Fire Elements".
TzTok Jad must be defeated by players on their own, without the help of summoning creatures and a dwarf multicannon. Players must eliminate 271 other monsters before fighting Jad, resulting in a significant use of ammunition, food, potions and prayers, among others.
TzTok-Jad is strong enough to pose a danger to any unprepared or inexperienced player, regardless of their skill or equipment.
A player might be assigned an assignment of TzHaar monsters in Kuradal and the requirement to "Upgrade" your task. If you do, you will be given the task being assigned to Volcanic Creatures. You can choose to take on the Fight Cave from TzTok Jad for a special reward. This reward is 25,000 Slayer experience, which is not counting the base reward of 1,309 experience.
Likewise, a player may receive 1-4 TzTok-Jads in part of a Soul Reaper task. The Fight Caves can take a while for players so the TokHaar and TzekHaar versions of TzTokJads could be killed in their place.

Trivia [edit
- The 38th Postbag from Hedge includes the calculation of the number of Roosters required to complete the TzHaar Fighting Cave and kill TzTok-Jad (5,308. The Wise Old Man also mentions that TzTokJad is an allergic chicken. 1. Once the player has killed TzTokJad, their Adventurer's log will say that "I killed TzTokJad , and can now claim my fire cape." In line with the original premise of the monsters found in the Fight Caves (combat levels and life points doubled every time) TzTok-Jad ought to have had a combat level of 720 (Ket-Zek has an combat level of 360). TzTokJad's limit for hitpoints was 255. This was set when he was introduced. This meant that he was unable to have more than 320 hitpoints. This is double Ket-Zeks 160 hitpoints. His hitpoints were thus set at 250. This resulted in a combat rank of 702 instead 720. With the Evolution of Combat update, the life points of monsters in Fight Caves have since been modified, but the their original combat levels remain. 1. As of February 1st, 2018, the highest kill count for this boss was 7,614 kills split between the boss and TokHaarJad. [2] - The number was 7,789 as of 13 December 2018. [3]
