The iof killed a palestinian man in tulkarem which makes idk how many killings in the west bank so far and there's an instagram page that compiles videos of the martyrs and the video for this man was him surprising his daughter with a "princess" style room he made for her. It does make you insane that some iof soldier, some 20 year old trigger happy son of a bitch is able to destroy a family that quick. His little girl is so small and yet its normal for a palestinian child to be orphaned in this way. It just makes me too insane
His name was Faris Khalifa and he was 37 years old and he was killed by iof on January 16th
Hello, love! It's been a while since I've visited your blog but I suddenly remembered your Yoongi fic on a whim and felt the need to read it again, and then I went through your entire blog and felt a really big wave of nostalgia. I hope you're doing well nowadays, and that you're taking care of yourself!
I am so unbelievably emotional over this, I am so glad that my little piece of work and my blog in general is something that lives on in people's lives and make them feel good in the middle of their day.
If my work can make people's days brighter, even by a fraction, I feel as though it was worth all the effort I put into them.
As for you, anon, I hope you are doing well, too! I hope all my followers and even people who have ever read, liked, reblogged or interacted with my blog in any way is doing well, as these are pretty trying times.
If you're interested, I do have a few notable updates I can give you guys regarding my life these days!
I got into university, a very prestigious one that I had been working towards for years and dreaming about the majority of my childhood, so that was a very big accomplishment for me!
I also finished my first year with very good marks, despite MANY challenges, like overworking myself and not knowing how to study efficiently for a while. I also had to drop a very difficult class first semester which was rough but then I retook it second semester and finished it with a pretty good mark, one I'm very proud of, so yay :D
I got a part-time job for the spring and summer months, an amazing one where my title is "Fashion Associate", where I basically spend my day helping people in fitting rooms, putting together outfits, as well as helping out with regular retail stuff, but the bigger part of the job, I am in love with :)
I got a professional diagnosis and was prescribed meds that does WONDERS for my anxiety, as if I'm a whole new person.
There are also a lot of other little milestones I've hit, but for the sake of not making this post any longer, I'll just say my life at the moment is moving towards the positive :)
I hope you are doing well too anon, and that you are taking care of yourself as well.
It truly is a difficult time in the world right now, but I personally believe that in order to come together and fix the world, we should focus on fixing ourselves first, so we can all be at full strength together.
