I've been struggling with my mental health for months now and three of the things that I find very effective are:
1. Go out with your friends (or talk to them) - I know it can be difficult to get yourself out of bed most of the time, but getting yourself out there and just not be alone can help. Take that leap. It's a lot of effort I know but it's worth it, trust me. Sulking feels good, but sulking deep inside while hiding it from your friends feels much better. Lol kidding. It's your choice if you're gonna share it with them or not. At least you're not alone.
2. Exercise/Workout - I'm not the best and fittest guy to ask about these things but sweating it out and moving gives you endorphins. Endorphins are chemicals produced by the brain to help cope with pain or stress. Take a walk, hike or ride a bike. It's not much but it kinda gives you that boost to still want to keep on keeping on.
3. Write 10 things you are grateful for at the end of every day - this i found very effective. I've only been doing this for 3 days and I could say that it has given me so much boost just before sleeping. It may be something big or small. Write it. Just looking back on what you have accomplished throughout the day, even the smallest thing, makes life more bearable as you write them.
I can't promise anything to you but doing one of these gets me through the day based on experience. It's difficult. Like nobody understands you. I understand. I know that feeling. Hang in there. It got better for me. I'm almost getting there. I know soon it will get better for you as well. Hang in there.
