I know plenty of people have touched on the fact that Luke was murdered at a younger age than Alicent began the series at, and how weird it is that it's Alicent who's more often called the innocent child. But possibly even weirder is how book!Jaehaerys was killed at around the same age book!Luke was when Alicent demanded his eye, when she convinced Aemond that they deserved his eye, and when a certain part of the fandom point to as they assert that you're not allowed to call Luke "innocent."

I don't know... You sure Jaehaerys didn't grab a dagger when he decided Blood might be a threat? Because as we've apparently established, scared six-year-olds defending their family with a dagger are not innocent.
