thinking of the s3 arrested development finale as the ending is so so so great because i’m obsessed with all these villain protagonists getting actual villain karmic endings. buster’s cowardice and inability to say no to his mother see him jump into the sea and possibly lose another limb gob’s obsessive competitiveness and creepiness towards women and lindsay’s vanity and hypocrisy sees them humiliating themselves fighting like children in front of a laughing crowd of investors lucille’s being a terrible mother greed and manipulation see her and her kids possibly go to jail and michael, despite seemingly getting out, ends up like he always has been with the dad who dragged him back
