This is not war.
When one side cuts off water, food and electricity on another then it’s not war.
When one side has nuclear weapons then it’s not war.
When one side is getting funded with billions of dollars then it’s not war.
When one side uses AI pictures to spread misinformation about another then it’s not war.
When social media is censoring the content of one side and not the other then it’s not war.
This isn’t a conflict and it’s not war.
This is genocide and mass destruction and we’re witnessing it happen live.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free 🇵🇸

It had been a week since Jack had gotten his privileges back and he wasted absolutely no time once you had told him. At this point, the triplets were still walking on eggshells around you and in order not to do anything to piss you off, if they had a question they wouldn't ask you unless absolutely necessary.
Jack had convinced you to take a bath and had run the water for you along with lighting a few of your favorite candles and adding your favorite bath bombs. Within five minutes, he was climbing into the tub behind you, and you were surprised that it had taken him that long.
Your head was laying on his chest and the two of you were in a comfortable silence when you broke it by poking his cheek and starting to play with his beard.
"Yes, baby?"
"I've thought long and hard about this and if we agree on this, we can move forward with a proper punishment for them."
"I had been thinking too, but you go first." Jack said while kissing the tip of your nose and you smiled.
"They're going to public school and we are no longer paying for them to go to a private school. That comes with privileges and having the right attitude and being respectful."
"At least for a semester, you agree?"
You slowly nodded your head yes.
"No one is allowed to use their cell phone or drive unless we let them. Axel and Ivy need to get part time jobs and Ivy asked me if babysitting Nova counts even though she's 12. I expected her to ask about Cash and Cam seeing that they're only 6."
"No she didn't ask that…" Jack said while stifling a laugh and looking at you in disbelief and all you did was nod.
"And I have another suggestion." Jack started to say and you nodded for him to go on.
"They give us a percentage of their paycheck every two weeks and we tell them it goes towards bills, but we actually put it in another savings account for them and they can't even touch that one until they're 30."
"Hmm, I like that idea. I can open a new account tomorrow."
"One way or another they are going to learn to respect us and I think that this will be the wake up call that they need."
"I think one of the things that sticks out and pisses me off the most is Axel smoking. Knowing that he had to be intubated multiple times when he was born and has a heart murmur. He's lucky that we even let him play soccer. And has asthma. Like is he trying to put himself in the hospital because I'm convinced that he is. I get that I experimented, well we both did, however we didn't do anything that stupid."
"And remember the time we found weed and he tried to blame it on Urban?" Jack added and all you did was shake your head.
"I swear, I don't recognize my kids anymore. At least the other three act like they have some sense."
"When should we tell them?"
"Well school starts back up next week so I can call tomorrow and get them enrolled and can you be in charge of making sure they find jobs?"
"Of course baby, and they can't work for us either. Because I know Ivy will ask."
"They are in for a rude awakening. We'll tell them tomorrow and if someone disobeys our rules, a disciplinary school is next. Never thought I would say that out loud but here we are."
"I hope we don't get to that point, but if we do, so be it."
"I just checked on all of them and Autumn snuck out again. She's not in her room and I watched the security cameras."
"Hmm, she can have her fun now but come tomorrow she's going to be in for it. I don't even have the energy to yell or argue with them anymore. It's the fact that I'm calm and I admit that's probably the scariest thing that I could be."
"Oh, trust me, I know."
All you did was eye him as he leaned down to kiss you.
"I love you."
"And I love you even when you get on my nerves."
"Was that last part really necessary?" Jack asked as he sucked his teeth, but all you did was laugh.
"Of course it was. Wouldn't be me if I didn't say it."
Jack simply rolled his eyes as he began to kiss down your neck and you knew where this was going.
"You aren't tired yet?" You asked and he immediately shook his head no.
"I've missed out on an entire month and I need to make up for lost time so spread your legs and let me work."
The next morning, you got up early and fixed breakfast for everyone for the first time in about a month and a half. Jack woke up about thirty minutes after you and came down to help you. All you could basically put him in charge of was drinks, but you were still grateful to have his company.
Meanwhile upstairs, the triplets had congregated in Axel's room and they were confused since they heard both of you downstairs and knew that something had to be up.
"She's actually cooking…" Ivy whispered, not actually believing it herself.
"Well maybe she forgives us?" Axel suggested but the girls shook their heads no.
"That's way too easy. She couldn't have and she didn’t even say anything about it either."
"Uncle Urby said she holds grudges like no other and the last thing we want to do is be in the line of fire when she gets pissed off."
"But we're her kids. She can't stay mad at us forever."
"Autumn, you've done enough shit for her to be mad at you for the rest of your life." Axel said and she immediately rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, okay. Don't say anything when you cough up a lung knowing that you smoke and have asthma." She quickly fired back as Ivy simply sighed.
Jack suddenly knocked on Axel's door and peeked his head in startling them.
"You three get your brothers and sister and come eat."
"Dad! What is mom up to?" Axel asked and all Jack did was laugh to himself.
"You three will find out soon enough, come on."
The three of them exchanged nervous looks as Jack walked away and went back downstairs.
"Welp, we're all going to die. So it was nice knowing you two." Ivy said before walking out Axel's room to get Nova while Axel went to get his brothers.
Once downstairs, everyone had fixed their plate and was eating at the table when you and Jack were simply eyeing each other making the triplets even more nervous. Ivy quickly caught on with you two exchanging looks and finally asked.
“Um, why are you two looking at each other like that?”
“Babe, you want to tell them?” Jack asked while looking at you as you were sipping on your tea.
“Well, if you insist. Ivy, Axel, Autumn, the oldest of my children who I carried for 33 weeks and had to be resuscitated twice once they cut you out of me even though Autumn claimed that it wasn't a big deal and you all still continue to disrespect me, me and your father have something to tell all of you.”
“Wait…. YOU DIED?” Axel exclaimed since you had actually never told them.
“Not once, but twice. Stay on topic, Axel. And you almost did too, but that's not what this conversation is about." Jack quickly cut in while the girls were looking at you with concern.
“But you never told us that!” Ivy exclaimed and Autumn looked to be upset.
"We need to unpack that because…. WHAT?"
“Another story for another day when the three of you are actually back in my good graces again.”
Nova, Cash, and Cam stopped eating to try and listen in on what was going on with their siblings as they nervously looked on.
“Come next week, the three of you will be going to public school since me and your father are not going to pay for you three to go to private school that has top tier educators and continue to disrespect us so that’s a thing of the past, Ivy and Axel, you two need to get jobs and all three of you will decide which bill you want to contribute to in the house since Autumn already has one. You are not allowed to have your cell phone unless we say so and you can only drive to and from work. If one of you steps a toe out of line, you don’t want to know what is going to come after that because you definitely won’t like it. I do not expect any failing grades either.”
There was only silence for a matter of seconds before you quickly heard their protests.
“PUBLIC SCHOOL?”
“WITH NORMAL PEOPLE!?”
“WE HAVE TO PAY BILLS NOW?!”
“WE HAVE TO RIDE THE BUS TOO?!”
“As long as you live in this house you will abide by our rules and respect them and we aren’t going back on this punishment so you three will have to deal with it.” Jack told them as Ivy simply had her mouth hanging wide open, but her face quickly turned to a look of anger as she looked at Autumn.
“This is all your fault! You told her that we were cut out and not pushed out and looked what happened!” Ivy said while rolling her eyes.
“How is this all my fault? I didn’t tell you to cuss out your teacher!”
“No, but you had to go and be a bitch and be disrespectful to our mother who would do anything for us and you’ve acted out ever since Nova was born because you were jealous that you weren’t the baby anymore!”
“We were only four when she was born!”
“And you still act as if you’re four years old! You almost let Nova fall down the steps ON PURPOSE when she was little and she would have seriously gotten hurt if I didn’t catch her in time!  You’ve always been the one to get in trouble and now we’re in trouble right along with you! And always beg daddy to bail you out when you know that you’re in the wrong. You’re so selfish!”
“How am I selfish? I have covered for you plenty of times when you snuck out with Damien!”
“YOU LITERALLY SNUCK OUT LAST NIGHT!”
“YOU TWO, SHUT IT RIGHT NOW! And we do NOT call each other names, Ivy!” You yelled and the two of them instantly went quiet.
“Ivy, when did you sneak out?” Jack asked while looking at her and all she did was stare back at him while picking off her fingernail polish.
“Don’t lie because we have security cameras.” He continued as Autumn was smirking.
“Autumn wipe that smirk off your face. It looks like we now have to make an executive decision. Babe? They do their junior year and entire senior year in public school.”
“Now, wait a second! I was going to be dance captain this year!”
“Autumn, shut your mouth because I’m not waiting for a damn thing and it looks like they’ll have to choose someone else. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes and Ax, you’ve been mighty quiet but let me tell you if we as much catch you smoking or even smell weed on you knowing that you have asthma, you don’t want to know what’s going to happen. The last thing we ever want is you having an asthma attack and getting a call from the hospital because your inhaler didn’t work. We have gotten enough calls from the hospital concerning you to last more than four lifetimes. When you were born you literally couldn’t even breathe on your own.”
“And no boyfriends or girlfriends so NO dating. Open your mouth to talk back to either of us and we’ll ship you off to military school at this very moment. Your choice, so choose wisely. Now enjoy your breakfast while I make a few calls. Jack, the only thing that they can look on their phones for are jobs today. Once they fill out at least five applications, they have to give it back to you. Do you agree?”
“Sounds like a plan to me.”
“We love the three of you very much, but you’ve left us no choice and have brought this on yourselves. I hope this serves as a good lesson to you and maybe just maybe if you three actually stick to being on your best behavior, you’ll slowly start to earn your privileges back.”
“Mommy?” You heard Cash ask and you quickly turned to him.
“Yes, my baby?”
“Can I have more orange juice?”
“Of course you can and Nova and Autumn come in the living room.”
“Am I in trouble?” Nova asked terrified as you poured juice for Cash and you shook your head no. She hated getting in trouble and would always cry when she was younger if she was caught doing something that she wasn’t supposed to do.
“No, just need you for a second.”
The three of you walked into the living room and you gestured for them to sit down.
“Autumn, I am tired of this imaginary competition between you and Nova and it needs to stop at this very moment.”
“I…”
“No, and do not pretend to not know what I’m talking about because Ivy is right. We prepped you as much as we could but I didn’t even know I was pregnant with her because I would have liked to have done a better job. You are now 16 years old and she is 12 and looks up to her big sisters and wants to be like you and Ivy. We love all of you EQUALLY and no one has gotten special treatment at any time. So, do a better job of being a sister to her. I don’t have mine anymore and I wish that I did so the two of you better learn to get along. When me and your dad are not here anymore, all you’re going to have is each other. Do you understand?”
“Yes.” She quietly said while looking down at her feet.
“Nova, do you understand?”
“Yes.”
“The two of you can go finish eating.”
“Mom, what ever happened to your sister?” Nova quietly asked as she got up from the couch and Autumn went back into the kitchen.
“It’s not important and it’s a story for another day.”
The triplets were three weeks into the school year when all three of them came through the front door and you could tell that Ivy had been crying. Jack was the first one to notice and asked her what was wrong.
“Ivy? What’s going on?”
“I HAVE TO WORK TODAY! WHEN AM I GOING TO FIND TIME TO DO MY HOMEWORK? AND IT’S SO HARD. I HATE PUBLIC SCHOOL.”
“Me and your mother went to public school and we turned out just fine. You’ll be okay.” Jack replied while shrugging and looking at her, when she was quiet, he spoke again.
“I hope you weren’t expecting sympathy from me because if you were, you need to look elsewhere.”
“But…”
Just then you came down the steps and saw how upset she was and asked what had happened.
“What’s going on?”
“She’s fine. Ivy, go get ready for work and you’ll do your homework once you get back.”
“I AM NOT FINE! Mommy can I PLEASE go back to private school? Public school is scary and the food doesn’t taste good and they don’t have Fiji water in the cafeteria and the drama club sucks, and….”
You held up your hand to cut her off and all she did was sigh.
“Give it a chance, bubs. You’re only three weeks in and I have the utmost faith in you.” You said while pinching her cheek and all she did was sigh.
“You two aren’t changing your minds any time soon, are you?” Axel quietly asked while looking at how frustrated his sister was.
“Nope.” Both of you said at the same time and you went to lay in Jack’s lap as you grabbed his phone from him to order food since you had been busy all day and didn’t really have time to sit down.
“If I finish my homework before dinner, can I play on my phone for an hour?" Autumn quietly asked and the two of you simply turned around to look at her.
"Never mind. Can I watch Netflix then?"
"Hmm, what do you think?" Jack asked while looking down at you.
"It's Wednesday. No."
"Anddd there's your answer Autumn. You can read a book instead." Jack said as he looked towards her and all she did was nod her head accepting that as an answer before going upstairs while you scrolled through Jack’s phone.
"You know Nova asked me what happened to my sister a few weeks ago."
"Are you going to tell them?" Jack asked as you handed him his phone for him to add what he wanted to the cart.
"It's not all that important. It's not affecting their lives."
"But it's affecting yours. Not as much as before but it still is."
All you did was shrug.
"No matter how much time has passed and how much she wants to talk to me, I am never giving her the time of day or him for that matter. They knew what they were doing all along for it to come back and kick them in the ass later. She literally will never be in my good graces again. She had more kids other than me so she can focus on them. She literally did drugs while pregnant with me and I was born to addicted to a whole bunch of shit so she can go fuck herself. Anyway, did you add what you wanted? I want a milkshake too."
"I added it. It should be here in an hour."
"Okay. I just want them to understand that when we're not here anymore, all they're going to have is each other and they need to start treating each other better. Especially Autumn and Nova. Nova just kind of brushes it off, but I know it still bothers her. While Autumn can just be downright mean sometimes to her. And the thing is that she had her little jealous phase and I thought she grew out of it, but within the last few months she's doing it again."
"I think because of you telling them that, that they'll come around and be better about it. When I see those two, I get flashbacks of me and Clay and I do not want that happening again. And Autumn has got the message loud and clear now. We aren't putting up with her shit anymore."
"And it won't. In the end, I know that they'll be okay and it will just take a little while for them to get there."
"Now, are you sure we can't make another one?" Jack asked you and you looked up at him like he was crazy.
"Another WHAT?!"
"Um, never mind. I'll ask you later."
"If you are talking about me bringing another person into this world, the answer is no."
"But…"
"We have 3 boys and 3 girls. We are done. My uterus is done. My vagina is done."
"I'll ask you again next week."
All you did was look up to Jack to see him smirking and trying not to laugh and you couldn’t help but to laugh yourself.
"I cannot stand you."
All he did was lean down to kiss you and you continued to laugh as he placed kisses all over your face.
"It's just because you're a damn good mother. Just to watch the way you love and care for them is amazing and I knew from the beginning it was going to be like that, despite what was going on between us."
"Those first two years were hard. Between me wanting to separate from you, postpartum depression, thinking that we were going to have to bury one child, but we're still here."
"We are and thriving despite what may be happening around us."
"I'm so thankful you were able to realize something was wrong with me when that happened." You quietly said as you thought back on it.
"I know you like the back of my hand and inside and out… literally. I know when something is wrong with my baby. But seriously, that scared the absolute shit out of me. Second to their actual birth."
"I can't describe it, but it was a weird feeling. Like an out of body experience you could say."
"And that's why you were nervous to have Nova, scared that it was going to happen again."
"And thankfully it didn't."
"I don't know what I would have done without you and I know I tell you this all the time, but I seriously do not take for granted every single moment I get to have with you. Even if we're having a good day or not. I literally cannot put into words how much I love you."
"The good always outweighs the bad and I love you more than life."
"We can get through anything as long as we have each other."
The triplets were at the top of the steps as they overheard you and Jack talking and if they didn't just feel bad before, they felt even worse now.
They didn't say anything to each other as Ivy went downstairs to ask the both of you for her keys so that she could drive to work.
"Um, can I have my keys please?"
Since you were laying on Jack’s lap, he simply got up, but picked you up along with him with you letting out a yelp and went to get them out of the safe.
"Jackman, you can put me down now." You said as you laughed. He placed you on your feet before handing Ivy her keys.
"Go to work and then come home. No detours because we will find out." Jack told her and she simply nodded before grabbing both of you and pulling you into a hug, startling you both.
"Um, bubs, are you okay?" You quietly asked while hugging her back.
"Yes, I just love you both a whole lot. I have the best parents in the world."
"Oh. Well we love you too." Jack said while looking down at you confused and all you did was shrug.
"I'll see you both when I get back." Was all that she said before she walked out the door and all you and Jack did was look at each other.
"What just happened?" Jack quietly asked while looking at you, but you were at a loss for words.
"I'm not really sure, but I'm not mad at it."
It was now nearing the end of the semester and the triplets had been on their best behavior and following all of the rules that you and Jack had set in place for them.
The both of you knew that their report cards would be sent home today and were hoping for good results.
You were currently in your room looking over possible dresses that Julissa sent over for an upcoming event and you had told her that by the end of the day, you would decide which one you wanted.
Your door was open as Autumn poked her head in and knocked.
"Mommy?"
"I don't even remember the last time you called me that. Is something wrong?" You said while looking at her in the doorway and she quickly shook her head no.
"Then what's going on? And are you just going to stand in the doorway or come in?" You asked her and she quickly came in to sit next to you and simply stared at you.
"I got my report card." She said while handing it to you.
You took it from her and looked it over seeing that she had gotten all A's and B's.
"This is good, bubs. I'm proud of you." You said while looking back up at her and all she did was start to cry.
"Autumn? What's wrong?" You asked while putting her report card on your dresser and hugging her as she cried into your chest.
"I'm such a horrible daughter and sister. My siblings probably hate me."
"What?! No you aren't! And no one in this house hates you!"
"You and daddy have given me so many chances that I really shouldn't have gotten. And Nova does hate me! I've been nothing but mean to her since she was born!"
"Okay, Autumn, you need to breathe. Like I said no one hates you. Nova is just in her own little world, and has a very big heart. You’re her sister that she looks up to and all she wants is for the two of you to get along. I know that she'll forgive you and she wants the two of you to be close."
"And you went through so much to give birth to us and I'm sorry that I ever said that it wasn't a big deal. You died. Twice. And went through postpartum depression and you were going to separate from daddy and…."
"Pause. How did you know that last part?"
"We overheard the two of you talking." She quietly said while looking up at you.
All you did was sigh.
"Autumn Danielle, all six of you are our greatest joy and I wouldn’t change a thing because that's how we got to this point. You've been doing a lot better and all we want is for all of you to be successful, respectful, and responsible, knowing that you can lose everything in a blink of an eye. Just continue to do better, okay?"
"Okay." She said while sniffling and hugging you tighter.
"I love you and I'm sorry if I don't say it enough or don't act like it." Autumn added while playing with her bracelet that you and Jack had bought her for her birthday.
"I love you too and that is never going to change. We are always going to be here for you no matter what."
Just then Axel peeked into the room to see the two of you and made his way in also having his report card in hand.
"Mom?"
"She's occupied! Get your own!" You heard Autumn yell and all you did was laugh.
"What the? She is MY OWN. She was my mother before she was yours! I'm two minutes ahead of you!"
"And I also made it in here before you so you can leave. We were having a moment."
"Autumn, be nice! Ax, let me see the report card."
Once again, you saw all A's and B's.
"I expected nothing less, very proud of you."
"And I haven't smoked and I got your favorite muffins. They're downstairs."
"Oh, I would have known if you smoked anyway. I look at the number of puffs you have left on your inhaler. When you were using it more, you kept saying you needed another one."
"Um…"
"Bubs, I have 24 years on you. I wasn't born yesterday." You said while smirking at him.
"Autumn, move over." Ax said and she scooted over to make more room for him.
"Mom? Can we have tacos later?"
"Text your dad the ingredients that I need."
About two hours later, Jack walked in to see three of his oldest children surrounding you on the bed with all of you knocked out sleeping and all he could do was smile.
All he did was snap a quick picture to show you later.
Hearing his footsteps, you fluttered your eyes open to see your husband smiling at you.
"What?" You asked while smiling back at him and all he did was hand you his phone to look at the picture he took.
"No matter how old they get, they're always going to need us."

Gaza is under siege
Human Rights Watch confirms Israel is using white phosphorous gas on Gaza, violating int’l law
Israel cut off Gaza’s electricity and water, so no food preservation, health care, or basic means to live. Internal media coverage can go only so far without power. Hard to see the true extent of turmoil, likely by design.
Complete blockade from humanitarian aid means people starve and die from Israel’s siege on Gaza.
None of the 2M Palestinians can leave due to the open air prison Israel created around the city. Almost half of them are children.
Western media continues to cover only one side of this conflict, tainting the world’s understanding of what’s truly occurring. Public officials blindly follow suit. What a tragedy it is.
My heart and thoughts are with all those suffering in the region as a result.

I just think Jack would be so cuddly and cozy as a boyfriend. I just want to have a movie marathon on a rainy day with him and wear his hoodie.
This sounds so nice 🥹 He gives off the biggest cuddly vibes. Everytime I see a picture of him, I think that.

Please Do Not Repost My Content Anywhere
It was around two in the morning when you finally decided that you had been in your heels and dress long enough and all you wanted to do was lay down in a comfy bed and drift off to sleep. Jack noticed how you were rocking back and forth in your heels, so he promptly decided to give you a piggyback ride so that there was less of a chance of you getting blisters on your feet.
Jack was going to go run and get a few things from his hotel room before coming back to yours while you decided to quickly change and put your hair up so that it would be easier for you to do tomorrow. You had just finished when there was an abrupt knock at the door. You were confused seeing as Jack had his own key unless he forgot it, but then you had a realization.
Urban.
You remember seeing the look on his face as Jack held up your left hand and kissed you and it was clear that he was thoroughly confused. You admit that leaving him in the dark for so long probably wasn’t the best idea and he definitely deserved an explanation from being blindsided by the both of you.
Once you swung open the door, there he was with his arms crossed just like earlier. He didn’t even bother greeting you and pushed his way in to sit on the couch in the corner and simply stared at you.
“Urby.”
“No, you do not get to Urby me. What the fuck was that? And you didn’t tell me?!”
“Just wait for Jack to get here and…”
“No need, I’m here.” You heard him say as the door opened at the same time. He placed everything he brought on the nightstand on what he considered his side of the bed before coming over next to you and Urban.
“Okay good, the both of you are here and now I need to know what’s going on.”
The both of you shared a look between each other before nodding and deciding that there was nothing to lose at this point.
“Why do you two always do that?”
“Do what?” The both of you answered at the same time clearly confused as to what he was getting at.
“The two of you stare at each other and have this silent conversation like the two of you know what the other one is thinking.”
“Well we have been attached basically since birth.” Jack replied while shrugging.
“Okay, I’m waiting! Stop stalling!”
“We made a marriage pact at seventeen.” You quietly said while looking at Urban who now looked more confused than he had been earlier in the night.
“Excuse me? A what?”
“A marriage pact, you know…” Jack started to explain, but Urban immediately cut him off.
“I know what it is! And the two of you what? Just decided to go for it? What the hell?”
“We made it when we were seventeen like Y/N said. We decided that if we were both single by the time that each of us were thirty that we would marry each other.”
All Urban did was give the two of you a blank stare while trying to come to terms with what you had just told him.
“Urby?”
“I… from the beginning I have told the both of you that you belong together but it took a marriage pact for it to actually happen?”
“It wasn’t that easy.”
“Uh yeah it was that easy. Jack likes Y/N and won’t shut up about it and Y/N likes Jack and won’t shut up about it. Boom, the easy solution was to ask each other out? So, is this like real?”
“Of course it’s real.” Jack was now starting to get a bit defensive which you caught on to and quickly grabbed his arm for him to calm down.
“But do you two even love each other? I mean I get it that you two have that best friends forever type of love but… you two are going from best friends to being husband and wife? You haven’t even been in a relationship with each other to know if you even mesh well.”
“We get along and barely ever have disagreements.” Jack answered while shrugging.
Urban immediately shook his head.
“That is not the same thing and both of you know it.”
“Why are you being so difficult about this?” You asked him because you seriously couldn’t understand what he was getting at.
“You do realize if this ends badly what could possibly happen right?”
“But it’s not going to end badly.” Jack replied as Urban continued to shake his head.
“Divorce and the two of you will end up hating each other. Oh and not to mention last time I checked, Y/N, you were Jack’s manager. Your mothers are best friends and that will probably be an issue and turn into the blame game of whose child’s fault it is and they might not even be friends after that. Did I get it all? So the two of you automatically think that the love that you have for each other is enough to sustain this?”
“I thought that you would be happy for us.” You quietly said and Jack immediately knew that you were now upset and planned on ripping Urban a new one.
“Don’t get me wrong, I am because the two of you getting together was all I ever wanted. I just…. I just want the both of you to be realistic. I don’t want either of you getting hurt because that is literally the last thing that I would ever want. This isn’t coming from a place of me not being supportive. I just want the best for both of you.”
The three of you were quiet for a few minutes before Urban spoke up.
“But if this is what the two of you want to do, then I’m 100% in and I’m going to be the supportive best friend. I already told you how I felt about it so do with that what you want. And I promise to not tell anyone about it, you definitely have my word and know that I’m good for it. I just… the two of you mean a lot to me and I don’t want this to blow up in your faces.”
Now the doubts in your mind slowly started to creep in.
Maybe Urban was right.
The two of you were too far in over your heads and it was probably going to turn out badly. Jack was your entire heart and you couldn’t imagine doing anything to hurt him and you know for a fact he wouldn’t think of doing anything to hurt you or to betray your trust.
Jack took note of how quiet you had gotten and planned on addressing it when it was just the two of you once Urban left.
“Well, it is now three in the morning and I’ll leave you two be. Just come get me once we’re ready to fly back home.” Urban quietly said as the both of you nodded.
Once Urban had left, the two of you crawled into bed in silence as thoughts were running rampant through both of your heads. More so you than Jack.
After plugging in his phone, Jack turned off the light leaving you both in the calm darkness and neither of you said a word.
About fifteen minutes had passed before Jack wrapped his arms around you and kissed your cheek.
“What if Urby’s right?” You whispered as you were trying to do your best to not let Jack know that you had been silently crying.
This was all you ever wanted.
To be married and have a life with Jack and the opportunity was right in front of you.
But what if you two aren’t meant to be together like the both of you want?
“Y/N….”
“No seriously. What if we get divorced and end up hating each other? You are literally one of the most important people in my life and you’ve always been in it. What if then all of a sudden you aren’t?”
“I’m going to need for you to stop being so negative. That isn’t like you at all.”
“Jackman, I am not being negative. I just….”
“We’re going to be fine and I don’t want you to get upset about what he said. All he wants is the best for us and we’re going to do this and make this work. You’re it for me and although I’ve known for a while, I was just scared to act on my feelings and didn’t want to push you away.”
“You could never push me away, you know better than that.”
“I admit, I went out with so many girls to get my mind off of you, but it never worked. It seemed as if you always had a boyfriend so when it got closer to your birthday and the both of us were single, I thought to myself that this was my chance.”
“I wish you would have told me sooner. I had it in my mind that the feelings weren’t reciprocated so I just went off and did my own thing.”
“But now, we have the rest of our lives for me to make it up to you.”
“Very true.”
“I’ve actually had your ring for a year now.”
You turned your body so that you were now facing Jack and although you couldn’t see his eyes, you could make out his features in the dark room.
“A year?”
“I… I knew if I didn’t do it then that I was probably going to back out. I remember going to the jeweler who did my Kentucky chain and I asked him to do your ring. And you want to know what he told me? If this is for Y/N like I think it is, then it’s about time. I just want to show you how you’re supposed to be loved because um no offense, every single boyfriend you’ve had has been an asshole and did not deserve you and I am not even being biased here because I liked you and wanted you for myself. I think that last one was the worst one.”
“Okay Harlow. I get it.” You responded while shaking your head.
“But what are we going to tell people? We have to have our stories straight. I mean truth be told it’s no one’s business but just in case.”
“That we started dating six months ago and then you proposed to me on my birthday. There. Simple.”
“Hmm, that works. What was your favorite gift that I got you? You still have another one waiting for you when we get back home.”
“Another one? I literally don’t need anything else. Well even though I loved the dress and the shoes along with the jewelry, I think that you kissing me was definitely my favorite gift.” You said being completely honest.
“Oh, was it now? I should have warned you before I did it. Just couldn’t help myself.”
“I didn’t mind, it caught me off guard a little but it’s fine.”
“I figured that it was mind-blowing seeing as that was probably the best kiss you’ve had in your life since your ex-boyfriends weren’t shit.”
“I had a feeling that you were going to say that.” You responded while rolling your eyes even though he couldn’t see you.
“Now that you’re with me, you’ll want for nothing and I can give you all the kisses you want.”
“Oh, is that so? Because I would like another one right now to help put me to sleep.”
Without a second thought, Jack immediately leaned down to kiss you and you eagerly kissed him back.
Once the two of you broke apart, Jack was lightly stroking your face as you laid on him.
"I wanted to ask you something." Jack started to say.
"Yes?"
"Do you still want a big family like you originally told me?"
"I am NOT giving you eight daughters so you can fucking forget it."
"I didn't even say anything about that! But seriously, what's your limit? You have to be the one to carry them so it's up to you. I'm good with whatever you decide."
"Three is my limit. Maybe four but that is absolutely my cut off."
"Can't wait until we have three small versions of us running around."
"And I already know that they'll have your big ass head." You muttered and you could hear Jack suck his teeth.
"You didn't have to say all that."
"Love you boo bear."
"No you don't and you can't convince me otherwise."
"I will kick you out. Keep in mind this is my room and you are a guest."
"So, that's how you treat your guests?"
"I will make sure the plane leaves you here later today."
"That's okay. I'll just call your mom and tell her you left me knowing that I need adult supervision at all times."
"Hmm, no lies told. You would think that because you’re the oldest that you would be the responsible one, but no."
"I….. we are literally EIGHT days apart!" Jack started to say but you immediately started to laugh.
"Go to sleep! We have to be up at 8 and I can imagine that it's now close to 4."
"Fine, but this conversation is far from over."
"It is for now."
"And to think I bought your ass a G Wagon."
"Wait, what!?" You exclaimed.
"Goodnight." Jack said as he turned away from you, but you quickly grabbed his arm to turn him back.
"You can't just say that out of nowhere with no explanation! That’s an expensive ass car!"
"I can and I did. Night baby girl."
"Jackkkkkk, can you at least tell me what color it is?"
"No, I have a big head and I always need adult supervision, remember? You'll find out when you see it."
"Pleaseeeee?"
"No. Go to sleep."
"Fine." You said with a huff and got settled in next to him.
After a few minutes, you heard him whisper in your ear.
"Black and gray."
"I KNEW IT!"
The two of you had been back in Louisville for a few weeks while Jack was adamant about you moving all of your things from your condo to his house but you weren’t budging. The only way he got you to agree was that you would keep it as a place to relax if you needed to. You loved it and there was no way you were about to give it up.
"Baby girl, it just makes more sense."
"No and I'm not budging. I love my condo and I am NOT selling it." You responded while crossing your arms.
"But we have more space here."
"So?"
"There is no way we can fit three kids in your condo."
"My answer is no, Jackman."
"Okay, okay. I don't want to fight with you so how about we compromise?"
"What do you suggest?" You said while rolling your eyes, but Jack saw and quickly pinched your cheek while you were trying to swat his hand away.
"Keep your condo as is but move in with me seeing as nine times out of ten your ass is over here every day anyway. Leave everything there and I'll buy you all new things. How does that sound?"
You didn't say anything for a few minutes while rocking back and forth on your heels contemplating what Jack had just said.
"I guess." You finally said with a sigh as Jack pulled you into a hug.
"I already always take care of you so you know I'm good for that. Anything you want or need, all you have to do is ask. And yes you can bring your Care Bear collection that you love so much."
"I know seeing as how much shit I put up with from you and I was bringing it anyway."
“HEY!”
“Did I lie?”
"I’m ignoring you. And I mean, you literally basically live with me anyway so is this really going to be a big change?"
"No, but when you would piss me off that's where I would go."
"Wait, what? All you told me was that you were going to Target and Starbucks!"
"And I would always come back and bring you something too, so what's the problem?"
"I… I'll let it slide."
"Good and now I'm going to meet Ari for lunch. You and Urban act like you got some sense while I'm gone."
"No promises." You heard from behind you and immediately sighed.
You turned around to see Urban, Clay, Sunni, and Cope.
"Do not call me to bail any of you out and on that note, I'm leaving. Clay, you're in charge because I do not trust the rest of them."
"Aye aye captain!" Clay said while everyone else rolled their eyes.
"That was ONE time!" Sunni exclaimed and all you did was look at him with a blank stare as Cope stifled a laugh.
"Anyway, bye." You started to grab your pink crossbody bag and phone when you heard Jack clear his throat.
"Excuse me? Aren't you forgetting something?"
"Oh! My keys! Can't drive anywhere without them!"
"Really!? So you aren't going to kiss your fiance?" Jack asked as you heard audible gasps from behind you.
"Wait, her WHAT?" Sunni and Cope exclaimed while looking between the both of you.
"Oh, yeah. We haven't really told a lot of people yet, but yes." Jack answered and Clay looked unfazed since he already knew while Urban’s facial expression was hard to read.
Urban was the only other person who knew about the pact and the two of you haven't really talked since you told him, but knew that he and Jack had.
"Since when have you two been together!? How did I miss this!? And Sunni you owe me 100 dollars. I told you that they would get married."
"I'm not giving you shit until they actually walk down the aisle."
"Do we have a date yet?"
"No, and we haven't even started planning, but we will soon."
"Are you just going to get Ari to do it?" Clay asked as he made himself comfortable on the couch.
"I can see what she says since I'm about to see her. But for now, bye." You replied as you reached up to kiss Jack who then gave you several kisses in return.
"Never thought I'd see the day." You heard Cope say and Urban quickly agreed.
"Me either."
Since you couldn't exactly read his facial expression, you didn't know if he was being sarcastic or not but decided to let it slide and tell Jack about it later. But truth be told, you probably weren't.
"Text me when you get there so I know you’re safe."
"Promise I will."
You had sent Ari a text that morning telling her that you were in the mood for some seafood and both of you decided to meet up at one of the most popular seafood restaurants in Louisville. The two of you had just ordered your drinks with an appetizer of crab dip when Ari quickly turned the conversation to the subject of the wedding.
“I am literally so happy and excited for you! I always knew that you two would end up together. I was tired of you two dumbasses making googly eyes at each other.”
“Bitch, shut up, but I’m happy too, I just know that he is always going to have my best interest and never do anything to hurt me.”
“He literally cannot take his eyes off of you every time you walk in a room. I can’t believe that it took this long for you two to actually get together. Do we have a wedding date set?” She asked while wiggling her eyebrows.
“Not yet, and more than likely it probably wouldn’t be until next year anyway seeing as he’s about to be touring again and so much is happening in between that. We’ll probably do little things with planning, but I’ll wait until he has a longer break to focus on the big things like where we’re going to have it and the venue.”
“I am literally just sitting here waiting for you to ask me to plan it. It’s not like your best friend isn’t a whole wedding planner.”
You and Ari met in middle school and the two of you quickly became close. She had been a wedding planner since she turned twenty three and it was truly her passion. Any time that anyone had any type of event going on in Louisville, she was often the first person that people called. It wasn’t uncommon for her to be booked all year and if people wanted her for an event, they had to book her months in advance.
“You have enough going on right now, I didn’t want to add to it.”
“You are literally my best friend on the entire fucking planet. Fuck everyone else, I’m planning your wedding and you are NOT paying me a dime for it.”
“Wait, Ariyana! I can’t just…. No… absolutely not! I have to pay you something!” You said as you took a sip of your water and looked over at her in disbelief.
“No, you don’t. I am just so happy that this is finally happening for you and it’s the least that I can do. I just…. Your face at your birthday party when Jack held up your hand to show off the ring? I have never in my life seen you happier. This is forever and it’s meant to be. I am doing this for free because I love you and you mean a lot to me and this is literally what I do all day, every day. You and Jack will not have to lift a finger. I’ll do everything including the bachelorette and bachelor parties. I don’t trust Urban to do it even though I know he’s going to be the best man. I’ll start a group chat between me, you, and Jack so we can get this plan in motion. This is going to be the wedding of the century.”
“Oh lord. Don’t do anything too crazy, promise me?”
“And I didn’t hear a thing that you just said because I am getting this group chat started and…. Eat your crab dip and let me work.”
“Here we go.”
“Oh, question. Does Jack know about um? You know? But I mean he’s had to dick you down by now.” She replied while shrugging and finishing up the text.
Your eyes suddenly went wide and knew that you had to make up a story in record time.
“I mean he is about to be your husband after all and wait a minute…. Yall have never done it?! Because why are you looking at me like that?”
“Don’t be so loud, Ari!”
“I was just saying. I admire you for it but I have another question…. Did you wait so long because you wanted it to be Jack? For your first I mean? Because you’ve had a lot of boyfriends. Truth be told, none of them deserved to take it but that’s a different story for a different day.”
“I just wanted to wait until I was married, but that has actually never come up in a conversation. The fact that it’s going to be Jack is just a plus.”
“What the? How? Haven’t you two been together for a while?” Ari was now looking at you with a confused face and you were doing your best to try and not get nervous and ramble. She knew when you rambled too fast that you were lying.
“Six months.”
“And in those six months, you never thought about ripping off Jack’s clothes and having him dick you down?”
“Of course I have but I just…. I know he’s not the type of person to rush me and he told me that whenever I was ready to let him know. He’s not like these other guys out here that will go out and cheat on you when you tell him that.”
“He really is your soulmate, huh?” Ari said while smiling at you.
“He definitely is.”
“I’m just so happy for you and I’m never going to get tired of saying it. You deserve all the happiness in the world.”
Now the biggest thing going forward was what you had to tell Jack.
You had never had sex before because you were simply waiting for the right person and the right moment for it to happen.
You just hoped that when you did tell him, he wasn’t going to go out and cheat on you like all of you ex-boyfriends did even though you told them from the beginning.
They would claim that they were okay with it, but that would only last for so long. A few also accused you of lying and then seeing how close you were with Jack, just assumed that you were cheating on him.
But you knew that he was different.
A good different.
When you had gotten back from being out with Ari for the majority of the afternoon and evening, it was around nine at night and Jack was simply laying on the couch flipping through channels trying to find something to watch.
“I should have known Ari was going to kidnap you like she always does and have you out for the majority of the day.”
“Well, I’m back now and no one called me for bail money and my fiancé is still in one piece so we’re good.” You answered while sitting on the couch opposite him and sliding off your shoes.
All Jack was doing was eyeing you and you were thoroughly confused.
“What? What’s wrong?” You curiously asked.
“Why are you over there and so far away from me? You don't love me anymore?”
All you did was roll your eyes and smile as you came and sat next to him and he pulled you onto his lap.
"You know better than that."
“Now, that’s more like it.” Jack said as he squeezed you and kissed your cheek.
“Such a big baby.” You replied as you shook your head.
“Only for you.”
“What did you do all day without me?”
“Wait for you to come back.”
“You get on my last nerve. You are so unserious.”
“I’ve only been serious once in my life, when I asked you to marry me and that’s it. But I’m going to need for you to go and pack your suitcase because we have somewhere to be.”
“Wait, huh? Where are we going? Tour is…” Jack immediately cut you off.
“I know that tour is about to start, but I want to spend time with my fiancé that won’t be interrupted by anyone else so we’re taking a little trip. I want you all to myself."
“Where are we going? I need to know what clothes to pack.”
“It’s somewhere that you’ve always wanted to go and every time I tried to take you something came up so we’re going now.”
“That can only be two places.”
“Mmm hmm.”
“Thailand?! The elephant sanctuary?!”
Elephants were in fact your favorite animal and you were very disappointed when you got older to find out that you couldn't have one as a pet.
“No, but I’ll take you soon.”
“Then that means…. THE MALDIVES?!?”
All Jack did was smile at you as you continued to squeal.
“When are we leaving?!”
“Around midnight so we need to hurry up.”
“Then why are we sitting here? Come on!” You exclaimed while standing up and grabbing Jack’s hand to pull him up.
You went up the steps two at a time before running into the master bedroom closet and taking out your biggest suitcase and opening it as Jack was behind you simply laughing.
It helped that a lot of your clothes were already there since like Jack mentioned, you spent a lot of your time there with him anyway.
You were scrambling around the closet deciding on which bathing suits to bring when you decided on your black and white polka-dot, bubblegum pink, lavender, and yellow.
"Hmm that's probably all you need to bring." You heard Jack say from behind you and you couldn’t help but to roll your eyes.
"Sir, I cannot walk around everywhere in a bikini."
"Who says you can't? That just means easier access for me. For you know whenever that time comes."
You tried not to let it show on your face how nervous that made you when he said that, but simply went over to grab a few of your sun dresses along with sandals to match.
"Aren't you going to pack too?" You asked Jack while turning around to look at him and he quickly shook his head no.
"I already did, I was just here to help you if you needed it."
"You? Help me? I'm used to it being the other way around."
"HEY! I am not that bad!"
"I beg to differ, but okay babe. Whatever you say." You answered while walking over to where your jewelry was.
"Wait, am I really that bad?"
All you did was give him a look in response.
"Never mind. From the look on your face, don't answer that."
—
Jack had told you that the two of you would be staying for a week before going back home, packing again, and then the tour would kick off overseas before finally ending in Louisville right before Christmas.
It was now your last night there and you were currently sitting outside on the balcony while gazing up at the stars that peppered the sky. You then saw Jack come and sit next to you and now the two of you were in a comfortable silence until you broke it.
"Thank you for this. This was one hell of a first date."
"I had to set the tone. But you’re welcome and you know I'll do anything for you. All you have to do is ask."
"Literally a trip to Miami would have been fine."
"No it wouldn't when you've been there 300 times."
"Good point."
"Want to go for one last swim before we leave tomorrow?"
You eagerly nodded your head and quickly took off your cover up to display the lavender bathing suit underneath. Jack was admiring the view as you walked down the stairs into the water with him following close behind you.
You couldn't get over how clear the water was underneath you and you were sad that you only had a few hours of this left.
You couldn’t remember the last time that you went on a vacation and this was definitely needed. More than likely you wouldn't be able to do this again until after the two of you were married and on your honeymoon that you had yet to decide what the two of you were going to do for.
"You're quiet. What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" Jack asked as he came up behind you to wrap his arms around your waist.
"That we won't be able to do this again for a while."
"The honeymoon will be here before you know it."
"Ari probably has that planned already too knowing her."
"I don't mind. That's one less thing that we have to worry about."
"Are we…. Are we really sure about this?" You asked as Jack turned you around to look at him.
"I'm 100% sure that I love you and I want to marry you. Been in love with you for a while now."
"But…"
"I have literally seen you at your best and at your worst. I know for a fact that I made the right decision when I got your ring made and proposed to you. Who cares what anyone says about it. We know it's real and you know that I won't do anything to hurt you or do something that will have you question the love that I have for you. I'm here to remind you for the rest of our lives how much you mean to me."
"I love you too and thank you for that."
"I know how much you've been hurt in the past and all that stops right now. You have my word." Jack answered as he leaned down to kiss you with him eagerly kissing you back. It was almost as if both of you were desperate. Jack then placed his hands underneath your thighs and you took this as an opportunity to wrap your legs around his waist as he deepened the kiss.
Jack then placed your back against one of the pillars that held the bungalow that you were staying in up and untied the back of your bikini top.
Then you suddenly froze.
“I.. uh…”
“What’s wrong?” Jack asked as he was now placing kisses along your collarbone while slowly massaging your left breast. When you still didn’t say anything he stopped.
“Baby girl, what’s on your mind?”
“Um… I’ve never….”
“You’ve never what?”
“I’ve never had sex before.”
It was quiet for a few seconds as he peered down at you to see if you were in fact serious.
“Wait, never?”
You simply shook your head and looked down.
Jack immediately put his finger under your chin to lift your head up so that he could see your eyes.
“Baby, that is nothing to be embarrassed about. I just assumed that you had and I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable just now.” He said while reaching behind you in order to tie it again.
“That’s why just about all my boyfriends would cheat on me even though I told them from the beginning that I wanted to wait.”
“There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to wait and now I really see them as assholes for doing that to you.”
“I feel like an anomaly.”
“You definitely aren’t and it’s probably more common than you think.” Jack replied while still holding you up.
“I’m sorry.”
“What? What are you apologizing for? You didn’t do anything wrong. We have plenty of time for that. Literally the rest of our lives. I just want for you to be sure that you’re ready. I am in no way, shape, or form going to rush you. I’m not like them and going to go out and cheat on you.”
“I know.” You quietly said while looking down again.
“Look at me, pretty girl.”
Once you did he kissed your forehead, both of your cheeks, before going to your lips and giving you several kisses.
“No rush, okay? You just tell me when you’re ready.”
You simply nodded your head before Jack set you back down and all you did was let out a sigh.
“Just know when the time comes, I’m going to make sure that it’s extra special.”

“Babe! Did you remember to get extra ice?” You asked Jack as he was tying the back of your bikini top for you and placing kisses along your shoulders.
“Yes, my love. I promise that I got everything on the list you gave me. It’s already in the cooler downstairs” He answered before turning you around and leaning down to place several pecks on your lips.
Both of you decided at the last minute to have a pool party since the temperatures would probably reach close to 100 and the main mission of the day was to stay as cool as possible. Jack quickly let everyone in the group text know and they would be coming in about another hour or so.
“Thank you. I just worry about you sometimes.” You replied being completely honest.
Your husband was very smart, but sometimes you thought he had a screw missing when you asked him to do certain things.
“What the? Why?!”
“You and Urban went to the store when I asked you to get me the ingredients to make my banana pudding and the fact that the both of you came back without bananas was confusing to me. It’s called banana pudding…. So I need bananas?”
“That was one time!”
“And the time that I asked you to get me shredded cheese for the tacos and you brought back sliced cheese which we NEVER eat because that shit is basically not real. And since when does sliced cheese go on tacos?!?”
“Okay, two times.” Jack said while shrugging, but you continued to shake your head.
“And then there was….”
“Okay, baby. I get it!”
“But, I love you anyway.” You said while hugging him.
“I love you too, more than you know.”
“Maybe I should change.” You quietly muttered while looking down at your stomach and seeing your c-section scar. You were trying to maneuver your bathing suit in order for it to be less noticeable.
“For what? And you better not be saying that because of your scar.”
“But… I don’t know. I just hate….”
Jack immediately cut you off.
“Turn around and look in the mirror for me.”
That was one thing that you slowly began to hate once you had seen what your scar looked like, but Jack being the amazing husband that he is always did positive affirmations with you every single day while he made you face the mirror. It had gotten better when you had finally come out of your postpartum depression, but once in a while, you found yourself being less confident that you were before and having low self-esteem.
Once you were in front of the mirror, Jack wrapped his arms around you and placed his chin on your shoulder and simply stared at you and smiled through the mirror and moved your bathing suit so that you could see the scar.
“Y/N, baby, my sweetheart, the love of my life, I don’t care how many times I have to tell you this. You are beautiful and amazing inside and out and you were able to bring three lives into the world at one time. That’s something that you should be proud of because I know for damn sure that I am. You’re wearing it, and besides it’ll give me easy access for later. And if anyone says anything, which I know that they won’t because it’s our friends, I’m kicking their ass. I just wish you saw yourself how I see you.”
The tears couldn’t help but to fall and Jack noticed and quickly kissed your cheek and squeezed you tighter.
“I love you and I will tell you a million and one times. That’s never going to change and I’m always here to reassure you.”
“I love you too. So much.” You replied while smiling back at him.
“Now, let’s go get our munchkins ready for the pool.”
You nodded in response as the two of you went to their room and found them playing quietly. Axel’s eyes landed on you first and he quickly got up and came over to you.
“You look so pretty, mommy.”
“Why thank you, bubs. Are you three ready to get in the pool?”
“YES!” Ivy quickly exclaimed before going over to her dresser and opening it to find her bathing suit.
“Hold on, Ivy. Let daddy help you.” Jack said while going over towards her. You looked at Autumn who had a slight pout on her face.
“What’s the matter baby boo?” You asked while squatting down to her height and all she did was shake her head at you.
“Nothing, mommy.”
“Are you sure because my cute little girl looks to be upset.”
“One of her toys broke.” Axel quietly said and you looked to Autumn for confirmation and she slowly nodded her head.
“It’s okay to be upset. But mommy and daddy can buy you a new one. Is it this one right here?” You asked seeing the toy that was in front of her. You tried to pick it up, but as you did pieces were falling and you quickly put it down.
“How about we go and have fun in the pool to get your mind off of it? Your aunts and uncles are coming too so you get to see them.”
“Auntie Jess and B?” She asked and her eyes lit up once you nodded your head yes.
“Okay.”
“Now what color bathing suit did you want to wear?”
“Pink like yours, mommy.”
“I want to wear mine that matches daddy.” Axel quietly said and you simply nodded while going over to the dresser and getting out both of them.
“Now all three of you remember that you cannot be in the pool without me or daddy, right?”
“Yes!”
“And all three of you need to listen to us, okay? I’m going to get your floaties when we go downstairs."
Axel was currently on Urban’s shoulders in the pool while Ivy was with Jack and Autumn was with you as you were laying on your inflatable flamingo and she was laying on your chest still upset about her toy from earlier. Jess and Blanca were next to you as PG was scattered all around the backyard with a few of them eating and a few others in the pool with Jack and Urban. Both of your parents said they would come by later and that your mom was bringing her homemade ice cream.
“Autumn?”
“Yes?” She looked up at you and you simply sighed. You absolutely hated that she was upset and was trying to do anything and everything to take her mind off of it.
“You hungry? You didn’t eat lunch yet.”
“No.”
“Did you want to play with Ivy and Axel?”
“Um, okay.”
“Babe, come get Autumn!” You called out to Jack who sat Ivy on the side of the pool so she wouldn’t be in the water by herself and quickly grabbed Autumn from your chest.
“Hey bubs. You ready to swim with me?” Jack asked her and she nodded and gave him a small smile.
Clay also got in the water so that Jack wouldn’t have to keep his eye on the two of them at the same time.
“I’m about to make margaritas, you two want some?” You asked as you turned to them and they quickly nodded their heads.
“Why do you insist on asking stupid questions?” Jess asked while looking at you dumbfounded.
“Now, just don’t make it so strong.” Blanca replied while eyeing Jess.
“Stop looking at me like that! I slept in the bathroom ONE TIME.”
“You literally only had two of her margaritas and it put you out like that.”
“I promise not to make it so strong, but where’s the fun in that?”
“YES!”
“Travis is going to have to take her out of here on a stretcher.”
Once you swam to the corner of the pool and you got out, you quickly heard Jack call for you.
“Yeah, babe?”
“Autumn wants to come with you.”
“Why, what’s wrong?” You asked as he lifted her up out of the pool so you could take her.
“I’m sleepy.”
“Okay, my sweet girl, I'll put you down for a nap.” You said while brushing wet curls out of her face.
“I’m making margaritas too, so I’ll be back.” You told Jack and then quickly heard Urban.
“DO MANGO AND WATERMELON FOR ME PLEASE!”
“Of course, Urby.”
You quickly went inside to get Autumn out of her bathing suit and laid her down on the couch and decided that you would give her a full bath later before quickly going to the kitchen to make margaritas. From the kitchen, you had a perfect view of the pool and saw Jack throwing Ivy up in the air and catching her and almost having a panic attack. And he was doing it without her having on her swim vest.
You knew that Jack would never do anything to put them in harm’s way, but you couldn’t help but to feel uneasy.
It wasn’t until you saw him throw her up and she landed in the water without him catching her that officially had you pissed off and you immediately stormed outside.
“Why is she not wearing her vest?” You asked Jack as he was now holding Ivy.
“She’s fine, babe. I’m with her.”
“Even though you’re with her she still can’t swim very well so that’s why she needs to wear them. I literally just saw you throw her in the air and NOT catch her.”
“That was one time, and do you honestly think I would put my kids in danger?” Jack fired back while giving you a slight attitude.
“But you dropped her when mommy took Autumn inside the house too.” Axel quietly said and Urban stifled a laugh while Jack looked at him in disbelief.
“Little man is always throwing his dad under the bus.” Urban said and Axel looked confused not knowing exactly what that meant.
“I’m okay, mommy.” Ivy quickly said as you had your arms crossed and tried not to go off.
“I’m happy that you are, but your father probably won’t be later. Put her vest on, NOW.”
“You are literally making this more difficult than it needs to be.” Jack said before handing Ivy to Clay.
“Uh oh, daddy got the boss upset.” Axel whispered in Urban’s ear who immediately looked at him confused.
“Who’s the boss?”
“My mommy. She’s the boss.”
All you did was shake your head and go back into the house with Jack hot on your trail.
“I think daddy’s sleeping on the couch tonight.” Ivy said to Clay and he couldn’t help but to laugh.
Once in the kitchen, you continued to make your margaritas while ignoring your husband who was right behind you leaning on the island.
“Y/N.”
“Jackman.”
“She was absolutely fine.”
“I don’t care if she was fine because that’s not the point. She can’t swim as well as Axel and Autumn can!”
“And you know for a damn fact that I would never let anything happen to her!”
“I know you wouldn’t, but I repeat, not the point. She could have seriously gotten hurt.”
“But she didn’t.”
“You’re pissing me off so I’m going to need you to move out of my way and get out of my sight.”
“I’m not leaving until we finish talking about this.”
“We’re obviously not going to see eye to eye about this so you can leave. Don’t you think we’ve spent enough time in the hospital with all three of them?! I don’t want that to become a reality again! Why is that so hard for you to understand?!”
“You’re doing it again.” Jack replied while sighing.
“Doing what again?”
“Being a damn helicopter parent. You did it with PG and you’re doing it again now. I’m perfectly capable of taking care of my damn kids and don’t need you undermining me especially in front of them and other people because I damn sure don't do that to you. I’m not your child, I’m your husband the last time I checked and honestly sometimes I swear that you don’t think before you talk. You act like what you say always goes before even saying anything to me first."
“I never said that you weren’t! I know you’re a good father and I tell you all the time! You four are my entire life and all I want to do is keep all of you safe. How the hell does that equate to me being a helicopter parent?”
“How is she supposed to learn if we don’t let her?! Left up to you, she wouldn’t!”
“That is not true and you know it!”
"Why would I say it if it wasn’t true?!"
“Daddy? Why are you and mommy yelling?” You heard Autumn’s voice from behind you and he immediately went and picked her up.
“Great, now you woke her up.” You muttered and Jack shot you a look.
“Hey, bubs. Did you have a good nap?” Jack asked her not even acknowledging her question because he didn't know how much she heard and didn't want to put you in a bad light.
“Yes, and now I’m hungry.”
“Let’s get you something to eat then.” Jack replied while quickly walking back outside with her as you finished up the margaritas.
When the sun was finally going down, all three babies got their baths and we’re comfortably in their beds, but you already knew that they would make their way over to yours.
You and Jack hadn’t said anything else to each other since earlier and you were thinking about what he said and how you undermine him in front of the triplets which is the last thing that you ever wanted to do. The two of you are supposed to be a team while being there for each other as well as your kids. You had to make a decision to be more conscious about that any time the two of you got into a disagreement and try not to do that in front of them.
After you had taken your shower and put your hair up, you curled up on the couch next to the window and decided to finish one of the books that you had been reading when you decided to go on the hunt for your husband to apologize to him and hoped that he wanted to talk to you.
You weren’t surprised when you found him downstairs in the studio and quickly put your arms around him from behind, but he brushed you off and you immediately sighed.
"Can you talk to me, please? We are not going to bed mad at each other so this needs to get fixed and get fixed now.”
"Why? So you can continue undermining me like you did before? If so, I'm good and you can leave."
"No, I actually want to apologize to you because that wasn't right to do that in front of them."
"You do it all the time. I usually brush it off, but I couldn't do that because I'm tired of it. I know I'm not the perfect parent, but I for damn sure know how to take care of my kids. Any time we have a disagreement, I'm always the one running to you to fix it but you never do the same thing because once again you like playing the victim card. You've gotten better but you still do it."
"I know and I'm working on it. I still have a long way to go but I'll get there. I’m sorry for undermining you in front of them. You’re a good father and I know you only want the best for them and would never put them in harm’s way. I trust you with my life and I know that they trust you with theirs.” You said while he fully turned around in his chair to look at you.
“I’m sorry too. I admit that I should have had her wear it regardless and I get why you’re so protective, but you still have to let them live. If we shelter them too much, it’s only going to cause problems when they get older.”
“That’s fair. She was smiling and laughing so I probably ruined that.”
“No you didn’t. She still did even after that happened."
"I'll leave you to it then. I just wanted to apologize. Um, are you coming upstairs any time soon?" You said as you were about to make your way back to your bedroom.
"No, I'll be down here for a while so you don't have to wait up for me."
This was a first and you were trying not to show on your face how upset that made you, but you understood if he didn't want to be around you at the moment.
Sometimes you thought that Jack deserved someone better than you because you felt that even if you had good intentions, it might not look that way to other people and the last thing that you ever wanted to do was upset him or your triplets.
Which you did earlier today.
"But…"
"Go to sleep, Y/N. I'm fine."
He called you by your first name.
And he did it twice today.
Which he never did unless he was being serious or he was mad at you and you had a feeling that it was both.
"Okay." You quietly answered before going back upstairs. But you walked slowly just in case Jack changed his mind and called out for you which he didn't.
You checked on the triplets to see that they were actually sleeping and were probably worn out from swimming all day before heading back to your room.
Turning on the light, you went to go and sit back in the corner to read in order to take your mind off of everything that happened today.
It had started off well and then it went to shit and you only had yourself to blame for that.
It was around 2 in the morning when Jack finally came upstairs. He went to check on the triplets first and saw that they were sound asleep before making his way to your shared bedroom. He noticed the light was still on and you were curled up on the couch by the window and he assumed that you had been reading and fell asleep.
He took your book from you and set it to the side before picking you up and bringing you to the bed and placing you underneath the comforter before going to his side and lying down.
Once Jack had finally gone to sleep, you were suddenly now awake and confused on how you had gotten back to the bed, but once you felt him move, you had your answer.
One time in therapy, you remember that Jack had told you that no matter how mad he was at you he was always going to protect you and make sure that you were okay and you told him that you would do the exact same thing.
After laying there for about two hours, you finally got up and went downstairs to turn the television on Boomerang so you could watch old cartoons.
The Powerpuff Girls were always one of your favorites and you still remember your mom getting you a Buttercup birthday cake when you had turned seven.
You didn’t realize that the sun was now peeking through the curtains when you finally decided to drift off in the hopes of getting at least another hour or two of sleep before the triplets woke up.
It was around 8:30 and you expected for one of them to come and wake you up, but it was your husband instead.
“What are you doing down here when I specifically put you in the bed?” He asked as you were opening your eyes.
“I couldn’t sleep.” You responded by shrugging and pulling the blanket that you had gotten out of the closet closer to you.
“Move over.”
“Wait, what?”
“Move over so I can lay behind you.”
You did as you were told and felt Jack wrap his arms around you and kiss your cheek as he put the blanket over both of you.
“Might as well get my cuddles in before the three munchkins decide to wake up and steal you from me.”
“I thought you were mad at me?” You quietly asked while focusing on the tv.
“It’s a new day and I’m trying to start with a clean slate. Me being mad at you takes too much energy. Even though I definitely was mad at you yesterday, we apologized and moved on and we’re going to do better moving forward. So, just because I get mad at you, you think I don’t love you anymore and won’t show you affection?”
All you did was shake your head no in response.
“Then can you turn around and give me a kiss please? I would like a kiss from my wife.” Jack asked and you quickly did.
“You called me by my first name.”
“Isn’t that the name your mom gave you? I’m confused.”
“You did it twice and you never call me by my first name unless you’re mad at me or being serious.”
“Oh, I didn’t even notice.”
“My name is baby or babe. You know this already and I won’t answer unless that’s what you call me.”
“Dramatic much? But I get it.”
“But, I really am sorry. I never want to make you feel bad and I know that I did yesterday.”
“You apologized already. We both did, it’s over and done with. Just let me love up on my wife and all is forgiven.”
That was quickly cut short once you heard little footsteps and Ivy came down the steps.
“Oooh Uncle Clay owes me ten dollars!”
“Wait, why?” Jack asked her, looking confused.
“I told him that you were probably going to have to sleep on the couch last night.”
“What the?! Ivy, I slept upstairs!”
“But he doesn’t know that.” She shrugged while climbing on top of both of you and laying down.
“She is literally your child.” Jack said as he looked at you and all you did was shrug.
“Well, she does look like me.”

Hey, do you think we could get some cuddly/sleepy Jack fluff? Maybe the reader and Jack have a newborn daughter and she finally fell asleep and they are both exhausted 🤍 Just pure fluff
hii this is such a cute idea, i tried to do it justice and i hope you like it!! (this is also my second time writing jack as a dad so please go easy on me💀)
Daddy’s girl
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s officially been a week since you and Jack brought your baby girl home from the hospital. It was a long labor and it’s been a long week overall. She wasn’t a difficult baby at all but as first time parents everything was very new for the both of you. Lack of sleep came naturally with making sure she was sleeping right throughout the night. Yet today she seemed crankier than usual. You guys went out for family brunch time as a father’s day gift for Jack and she’s been cranky and crying since. You’ve been walking laps around the house, bouncing her constantly in hopes of her falling asleep but no luck.
“Let me try baby” Jack said while reaching out for her. “No Jack it’s okay you should get some sleep.” “Y/n I can tell you’re tired too, just let me try. We both know she’s a daddy’s girl after all”
“Here you go again bragging about it, it’s only been a week so don’t get too cocky, mister”
“Ooo you should call me mister more often.” Jack joked, wiggling his eyebrows.
Rolling your eyes playfully annoyed at him you hand him the newborn, praying that she’d finally go to sleep.
As soon as she was in Jack’s arms looking up at him her cries slowly diminished to soft little whines and not too long after she was finally asleep.
After setting her in her crib Jack walked to your shared bedroom only to find you knocked out cold. He couldn’t be more grateful to you for making him the father of a beautiful baby girl. He plopped into bed right next to you causing you to stir awake.
“Oh my god, did she finally fall asleep?”
“Told you she’s a daddy’s girl” He shrugged.
“Whatever”
“Don’t be jealous mama come here, bring it in.” He opened his arms welcoming you into them for a well deserved and much needed nap.
Scooting into his arms you fell asleep faster than you both anticipated.
“Baby?”
Jack received no reply other than soft snores causing him to smile softly at the resemblance between you and your baby girl.
“She might be a daddy’s girl but she’s definitely her mother’s daughter”

As The Snow Falls - Chapter 3.
Pairing Travis Kelce x Reader
Words 2615
Warnings Strong language, some slight smut.
Tumblr media
CHAPTER 2
CHAPTER 3
"Hi." You whispered.
Travis carefully stepped into your room and closed the door behind him with a soft click. You brought your knees to your chest and nodded towards the bed, smiling as he casually sat down.
Travis looked around the room, "Nice place you've got here."
You laughed quietly and readjusted the pillow behind you, "It's good to see you, Travis."
His mouth slowly curved into a smile before he looked down, his fingers fidgeting with the fringed edging of the blanket, "I could say the same to you."
"It was cool for Jason to invite you."
Travis nodded, "Yeah, I've been here a couple of times before but when he said you guys would be here, I thought it would be fun."
You scanned his face. He was older now, and much more chiselled. His jaw defined but slightly hidden by his tidy facial hair and his body broader, toned muscles covering his tall stature, "You look good."
You could swear you saw him blush slightly.
"Thanks." He smiled, "I almost didn't recognise you when I walked in earlier, you look so different."
"In a bad way?"
His eyebrows shot upwards, "Ahh hell no! You look incredible!"
You watched as his eyes scanned across you, "Thank you, Travis."
"Your hair is different, your clothes are different, but your eyes are still as beautiful as they were when I first met you."
There was a slight awkward pause as you felt your chest tighten, "So, how come you're here anyway? Jason said you couldn't make it?"
He rubbed the back of his neck, "Yeah I had an event but it got cancelled. So when they called me, the first thing I thought about was this trip and I got in my car straight away." He relaxed onto his side, "I have no idea what I've packed in my bags, I did it so fast, man."
"I'm sure you can borrow some stuff from Jason, or I have a couple of bathing suits that I think you'd look great in."
His eyes darkened, "Bathing suits?"
You narrowed your eyes, "I'm not sure they would fit you though."
Travis smiled, "What did you bring bathing suits for anyway? It's a bit cold out there for a bathing suit."
"The cabin has a hot tub. Did Jason not say?"
"Ahhh...he did." Travis closed his eyes and shook his head, "Well, it seems like I'll be letting it all hang out in there then."
You nudged him with your foot, "Ewww no! Don't you dare, Kelce."
He grinned, "I'm sure there will be someone who won't be grossed out by that." He wiggled his eyebrows, "Jasmine seems friendly."
You felt a short stab to your chest.
You sighed, "Uhhh yeah, sorry about her. She can be...a bit much."
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure she'd eat me alive."
Another stab. You swallowed the feeling down, breathing a weak laugh as you picked at your nails, "She's lovely, really. And she's...glamourous...and-"
Travis leaned in, "You're not jealous, are you?"
You looked up to meet his intense gaze, twisting your mouth, "Don't flatter yourself"
"Because..." He shifted himself on the bed, edging closer to you, "...you know I wouldn't be interested in her."
You could feel the blood rushing to your cheeks, "No?"
Travis gently licked his lips, "No."
Your mouth dropped open slowly and your chest froze, holding it's breath in anticipation.
"Come on, Y/N. I know Jason told you about huge crush I had on you in college."
You smiled, "College was a long time ago, Travis."
He almost stiffened, "It wasn't that long ago! Are you saying you don't remember that party?"
"Oh, I remember it." You nodded and avoided his gaze, "It was a pretty awesome...party."
Travis grinned, "I'm happy you think so."
You could feel him relaxing even further onto the bed, almost laid on his side, your feet nestled underneath his shoulder.
"How come you're still awake?"
You ran your hands through your hair, "I struggle sleeping in a different bed to my own, I always do. Which, when you move around a lot, sucks quite a bit."
Travis hummed in thought, "How come you move around? Is it for work? What do you do for work anyway?"
You blinked wildly, "Woah, how many questions?"
Travis laughed and glanced down, "What do you do for work?"
"I teach online classes, which means I can work anywhere really."
"So, why do you move around?"
You paused, "I guess nowhere feels like home at the minute. I've never really felt comfortable anywhere."
"Have you tried Kansas City, yet? It's awesome."
You laughed and sat further up in bed, letting the blanket rest on your thighs as you crossed your legs, "I actually lived in St. Louis for a short while."
Travis' eyes widened, "What? And you never hit me up? We could've hung out!"
You laughed, "I was with my boyfriend at the time and I don't think he would've been so hot on the idea of me hanging out with some gorgeous guy from college that I was in love with."
As soon as the words fell from your lips, you could feel Travis' eyes burning into you. Your heart stopped and a breath caught in your throat.
Travis cleared his throat, "In love with me?"
You inhaled slowly, "Yeah. But, like I said, that was a long time ago."
"And like I said, it wasn't that long ago."
You shuffled awkwardly, "You liked me, I liked you, we kissed, we moved on. It's no big deal."
Travis moved closer to you again, "Why didn't you tell me?"
You shrugged "I don't know. I guess I was nervous, I didn't think you'd feel the same way."
"Well, I did."
"I know that now." You held his gaze, "I wish I'd known it then."
"I always liked you...a lot actually."
Your eyes began to sting, your lack of blinking causing small tears to form in your lower eyelids. Travis smiled and reached forward, grasping at your thigh, his fingers sinking into your skin through the blanket.
You glanced down at his hand, "Well, I'm glad you came on this trip. It'll be good to...catch up."
Travis' eyes searched yours, "Catch up? Yeah." He nodded quickly, "Yeah. Hey, I should let you sleep. Or at least try to!"
He began to move his hand but you swiftly placed yours on top of his, stopping him dead, "Would you stay? Just for a bit longer?"
His face softened, "Of course, if it'll help?"
You smiled, "Yeah, I think it will."
As you lay back in the bed, Travis settled in next to you, on top of the blanket and rested his arm across your stomach. You placed your arm on top of his and pulled yourself closer to him. His chest was pressed against your back and his gentle breathing became synchronised with your own. As your eyelids started to feel heavier and heavier, you felt a gentle squeeze from Travis' arm around your waist, a sense of protection relaxing you as you drifted into a deep sleep.
______________________________________________________________
Your eyes flickered open and you looked around your cabin room. Travis was gone but you noticed a dent in the pillow where his head had been. Rising from the bed, you picked up your zip-up sweatshirt and threw it on over your pyjamas. You opened the drapes and looked out to the fresh, white snow covering the mountains surrounding the cabin. It looked peaceful and bright, aiding with your calm and relaxed mood you had gained for your restful sleep.
The cabin was quiet, the only sound being the crackling of the dying logs on the fire. You assumed that everyone was still waking up so you made your way into the kitchen to make some coffee.
You grabbed some mugs from the cupboard and set them out on the wooden countertop, switching the coffee machine on and filling a jug with water.
As you poured the water into the machine, footsteps made you turn around to see Travis standing in the doorway. He was dressed in a brown, knitted sweater and cream pants. You looked down at your less than casual ensemble, suddenly feeling exposed and vulnerable.
Travis must have noticed as he smiled at you, walking towards you, "Don't worry, you look cute."
You smiled and turned back to the counter, "Coffee?"
"Absolutely. Although, I am surprised that you need it." He leant on the worktop next to you, "You slept like a baby last night."
You looked up to see that he was stood very close to you, his face only inches away from yours, "Yeah, thanks for that."
"Hey, no problem." His eyes glittered, "Although, I can't keep travelling to Omaha to help you sleep."
You smiled and took a deep breath, taking in his warming scent, "I guess not."
The coffee machine whirred and you broke your eye contact with Travis to grab a mug. He didn't move as you poured the steaming coffee, his arm brushing against yours. You stared back at him and held out the hot mug, his fingers tenderly touching yours as he took hold of it. The air was thick with tension as you became lost in his pale green eyes, circles being traced into your skin leaving goose bumps throughout the rest of your body.
"Good morning!"
You both jumped slightly and turned to see Jasmine bounding into the kitchen. You immediately stepped away from Travis to pour yourself some coffee, causing him to furrow his brows at you in confusion.
"Ooh coffee, thank you Y/N, you always think of everything." Jasmine sang out in a high pitched voice.
She slipped in-between you and Travis to retrieve a mug for herself, glancing up at Travis. "So, I think you and I should get to know each other a little bit, seeing as these guys are already close with you. It's only fair I get a bit of that action too!"
You cleared your throat, attempting to push down the growing agony in the pit of your stomach. "I'll go and get dressed."
Travis laughed uncomfortably and sipped from his mug. You grabbed your own and quickly made your way out of the kitchen, the unwanted feeling of jealousy reaching your throat.
______________________________________________________________
"Awww come on! Are you telling me you've never skied?" Jason laughed out.
Marc shook his head and raised his shoulders, "I've never understood the point!"
You swallowed down your drink, "So, you can be invited to insane ski cabins like this!" You waved your hand around as the hot tub bubbles tickled at your chest.
"Although, I don't necessarily need to ski to enjoy this place. Look at me right now, not skiing and I'm still enjoying it." He raised his glass towards you before sipping the fizzy liquid.
Kylie laughed out before her eyes focused on something behind you, "Ahh there you are! Finally decided to join us?"
You turned to see Jasmine and Travis heading towards the decking from the cabin. Jasmine pulled her towel further around her body and settled into a lounger next to the hot tub.
"You not coming in, Jas?" Amie questioned.
Jasmine's mouth opened in horror, "And get my hair wet? No thank you!" She snuggled in her towel before grabbing a glass of champagne from the table.
"You're coming in, right Trav?" Jason called out, "You wanna show everyone the trunks I had for you to borrow?"
Travis snorted a laugh and removed the black towel from his waist to reveal a pair of Philadelphia Eagles swimming trunks, "My brother is an asshole."
The hot tub erupted into laughter as Travis modelled his outfit.
"Oh! He did you so dirty!" Amie called out.
Jasmine joined in with the laughter before his eyebrows lowered, "Wait, I don't get it?"
"Jason plays for the Eagles." Kylie pointed out.
You chimed in, "And Travis plays for the Chiefs."
Jasmine stayed silent.
"The Super Bowl?" Marc continued, "You watched it with me?"
"I mean, I watched the commercials...and Rihanna." Jasmine shrugged and picked up her magazine, flipping through the pages.
Travis looked at you with wide eyes and carefully stepped into the hot tub, taking a space opposite you. You couldn't help but to look over his chest, droplets of water already making their way onto the hair that was covering it. His muscles looked even more toned than you had imagined, his solid shoulders and arms causing your thighs to clench together.
You tore your gaze away from him and turned to Kylie, "How are the girl's doing?"
______________________________________________________________
"Anyway, long story short, I got the award and my film is streaming on Netflix as of next month." Marc said quickly before finishing the rest of his drink.
"That's awesome, man." Travis said as he bumped his fist.
Marc stood up, reaching across to retrieve his towel, "Thanks. Okay, I'd better go and get ready. You guy's coming?"
You looked to Travis, "Errr, I don't know. I'll finish my drink and I'll see how I feel."
Marc wrapped his towel around himself and as he made his way back into the cabin, gestured towards Travis with wide eyes. You looked at him quizzically as he pouted his lip and pointed to Travis again. You shook your head and smiled at Travis, who was laid back and enjoying the hot tub with his eyes closed. It was only the pair of you left as everyone had slowly gone inside to prepare to ski in the afternoon. You had wanted to catch the first snow in the morning so had been looking forward to a night in by the fire, but now Travis was left with you, you weren't sure on your plans.
"You not heading out on the slopes?" You asked.
Travis kept his eyes closed, his voice relaxed, "I don't know. I'm kinda enjoying myself in here."
You smiled as you looked out towards the trees, "It really is beautiful here."
Travis hummed in agreement. He had moved closer to you during the morning as people had gotten out and back into the hot tub and occasionally his foot would graze yours under the water. Every touch sent a shiver down your spine, a sudden uncontrollable want and need for him, but you suppressed it.
You broke the silence, "So, what's next for you?"
"Uhh...I got some time before training camp starts. Maybe some travelling?" He opened one eye and smiled, "You want a visitor?"
"Sure, and I promise I won't make you sleep in my bed again."
Travis frowned, "Oh."
"I'll be in my own bed, I have no problem sleeping there."
His foot grazed yours again, "What if I wanted to though?"
You paused for moment, allowing yourself to get used to his touch, "Well, I'm sure we could come to some sort of arrangement?"
Travis nodded, "Good to know, good to know. Maybe I should make a trip to Omaha?"
"I think you should." You said in a low voice, almost a whisper.
Travis' eyes widened as your foot moved up towards his inner thigh. You grinned as his mouth opened, his lip quivering.
"Fuck. Don't tease me like this." He breathed.
You lifted yourself from your seat and moved closer to him, settling onto his lap, "Who said I was teasing?"
He looked up at you as your knees rested at either side of his hips, the water bubbling in the space between you. You could feel a hardness in his trunks, pressing against your pussy as your hands grasped at either side of his face.
"I've wanted to do this since you walked through the door."

Grocery shopping concept with Jack, reader and the girls
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jack had one hand rested on the back of your seat, the other on the top of the steering wheel as he drove to the grocery store. Usually the family was running in a million different directions on a Saturday afternoon, but Brooklyn's soccer game was canceled due to an excessive heat warning and Jack had a rare day off, so you decided to make the most of the free afternoon and take the family out to run errands.
Aaliyah was peacefully looking out the window from her booster seat, Brooklyn zoned in on something on her phone.
"Brookie, what kind of snacks do you want for practice?" You looked up from your notepad, a grocery list, perfectly organized by section written down on the paper. No answer.
"Brookie", you called again, looking at her through the rear view mirror. She couldn't hear you, her headphones in her ear.
"Brooklyn." Jack called out, a twinge of annoyance in his voice. Brooklyn was hitting her preteen years and it had become a normal occurance for her to conveniently ignore her parents. You knew it was just her growing up, but Jack couldn't help being hurt by her change in attitude. They had been best friends since she was born, and he felt her slipping away.
"Ow!" Brooklyn snatched her headphones out of her ear, rubbing her forearm. Aaliyah had a big grin on her face, her finger still held together from pinching her sister just a second ago. "I got her for your, Daddy!", she announced proudly, not able to hold in her giggles.
"Thank you baby, but we don't pinch." Jack had to stifle a laugh, avoiding eye contact with you because he knew you wouldn't find it funny.
"What?" Brooklyn huffed, her eyes never leaving her screen. "Drop the attitude, B. Your mom was asking you what kind of snacks you wanted to get for soccer practice." Jack responded as he pulled into the parking lot.
"Whatever. I don't care."
"Sorry, they're all sold out of "whatever", you'll have to choose something else." Jack erupted into laughter at his own joke, Aaliyah giggling along. At five years old, she had no idea what he was talking about, she just thought everything he said was funny. Brooklyn got out of the car ahead of everyone else, just barely hiding her eye roll.
"I thought that was funny." Jack looked to you. "It was babe." You patted his thigh, getting out of your seat.
"You're so silly, daddy!" Aaliyah covered her face as she giggled.
"Thank you! I think so too, Lay Lay." Jack remarked as he helped Aaliyah out of her booster seat.
****
The cart was almost full as you made it to the snack aisle, Jack pushing Aaliyah in the cart while Brooklyn trailed behind, still focused on her phone.
"B, do you wanna get these?" Jack held up a box of animal crackers. "We used to eat these together while we watched Gracie's Corner after you got home from preschool." Jack gave her a genuine grin, going down memory lane in his mind.
Brooklyn did not return his excitement, just sighing. "I'm not a baby anymore, Dad."
"Oh, ok", Jack's shoulders slumped as he put the box back.
"Brooklyn, do you want pretzels or popcorn for your snack?" You asked her, starting to get annoyed that she couldn't look up for five seconds to answer you. "Ok, I've had enough. Brooklyn, hand over the phone." You held out your hand, impatiently tapping your foot.
"No." She looked up at you with a glare. "I wasn't asking. Give me the phone." You returned her glare with your signature mom stare but she wasn't backing down. "I said no. I'm texting Madison."
Jack stepped in between you two, hoping to stave off an argument in the middle of the chip section. You and Brooklyn were scarily alike, both incredibly stubborn, and Jack knew this stare off could last all day.
"Brooklyn Gabrielle", Jack's voice was low and stern, "Give me the phone. I don't want to hear another word out of you until we get home." She handed it over, crossing her arms over her chest, tears starting to brim in her lashes.
"Why don't the two of you go to the car. I'm almost done with my list, Aaliyah and I can manage on our own." Brooklyn took off toward the exit, Jack following out behind her, running his hands through his curls.
****
"Do you want to tell me what's going on with you?" Jack looked back at Brooklyn from the driver's seat, watching tears silently roll down her face.
"Why? It's not like you'll listen to me anyway." She wiped her cheek, avoiding eye contact.
"What are you talking about? I always listen to you." Jack's eyebrows scrunched in confusion. "What's bothering you so much, baby? You have my full attention."
"Ugh, I'm not a baby anymore. I don't wanna play soccer and I don't wanna eat animal crackers. I wanna play basketball with my friends." Jack could see the sense of relief wash over her face after finally coming clean.
"But you're so good at soccer. I thought you loved it."
"I did when I was little, but I've only been playing it because you love it, Dad. I'm the oldest girl there and I feel so out of place because I don't have any friends on the team."
"Oh, Brookie, I want you to play whatever sport you wanna play. If you don't want to play soccer anymore you don't have to, okay?"
"Ok." She let out a shaky breath, a small smile on her face.
"Plus, your dad can show you a couple of moves on the court. I played a basketball player in a movie, ya know. I was actually pretty good." Jack chuckled.
Brooklyn groaned "Can you please stop talking about that movie, Dad? It was like a million years ago." She giggled, returning Jack's smile.

A Little Bit Older, A Little Bit Wiser
Requested by @harlowcomehome 🥰
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Jack, what happened?" You rushed to the door when you saw Jack and Brooklyn walking in, your husband hobbled over in pain, wincing as he held his back. Brooklyn was going to start playing for the local soccer team, and they had gone out for the afternoon to practice some drills at Mockingbird. You were surprised to see them back so soon, hoping you'd have the afternoon to yourself with Aaliyah spending the day with Clay.
You helped him over to the couch, slowly lowering him down until he was seated. He groaned out in pain as he laid back. "Daddy fell." Brooklyn plopped down on the couch, balancing the soccer ball in her hands.
"I was just running down the field and slipped, and I landed on my back." He edged out, visibly uncomfortable. "Oh, my poor baby", you rubbed his thigh sympathetically as you sat next to him, pushing the curls out of his face that were plastered there with sweat.
"I'll see if I can get you an appointment at the doctor so they can check you out." You pulled out your phone, searching for the number to your family physician when Jack took your phone out of your hand. "I don't need a doctor. I'm fine. Can you just help me to the bedroom?" You stood, holding a hand out to him, but he was frozen in place, even the thought of moving too painful. "You know what? This couch looks real comfortable. I'll just stay here."
You rolled your eyes, taking your phone back from him. "Jack, you can't even move. You need to go to the doctor." Just as Jack was about to protest again, Aaliyah busted through the front door, Clay following closely behind her carrying her backpack.
"Daddy!" Aaliyah shrieked, running over to Jack. "Baby, careful, please." You held her back before she jumped in Jack's lap, potentially injuring him further. "Hey, baby. How was nana and papa's house?" Aaliyah climbed onto the couch, wrapping her arms around Jack's neck, placing a gentle kiss on his nose. "It was so fun! Uncle Clay let me stay up until midnight!" You and Jack both shot Clay a look as he chuckled uncomfortably.
"Ya know kids, they like to exaggerate. Anyway, what happened to you, bro?" He rocked back and forth on his heels uncomfortably, hoping to quickly change the subject.
"Jack hurt his back. Can you help me get him to the bedroom? He's refusing medical help, but this couch is not comfortable enough for him to rest on." Clay held out an arm for Jack to use as leverage. He grabbed it, digging his nails into Clay's skin. "Ow!"
"If I find out you let my baby girl stay up all night, I'm gonna hurt you." He growled out, completely forgetting his anger as pain radiated through his body when he made it to his feet.
"Yeah, yeah. I'd like to see you try old man. Let's get you to your death bed, your time is limited." Clay teased, relishing in the fact that his older brother was starting to show his age. Jack may have been in pain, but he managed to lift his leg high enough to kick Clay in the shin.
"Do you want my help or not?" Clay whined out, as the two of them shuffled to the bedroom.
****
Once Jack was settled on the bed, he sat for a second, contemplating if he could sleep sitting up. "Help me take this off." He held out his hoodie sleeve to Clay. "I love you brother, but I draw the line at taking your clothes off." You walked into the room with a bottle of water in one hand, some pain pills in the other. "I've got it from here Clay, thanks so much."
"Of course, sis." He gave you a quick side hug, waving at Jack. "Have a good night, Old Man Jackman." Jack tried to hurl a pillow at Clay, but he easily dodged it, jogging out of the room. "Oof, you are off your game", Clay chuckled.
You handed the medication to Jack, watching him take a big gulp of water before helping him get his sweatshirt off and hoist his legs onto the bed. He stopped you as you tried to walk away, grabbing your hand. "Where are you going? I need someone to take care of me." He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, pulling you into him. You accidently landed your knee in his side, making him cry out.
"Sorry baby, but you are in no condition to accept the services I offer." You whispered in his ear, making him shiver. "Close your eyes for a bit, and I'll check on you later." He watched you walk away, a defeated look on his face. "Baby, I think we can make it work if I just lay really still." You giggled, shaking your butt at him as you left the room.
****
Jack could hear small whispers as he came out of his sleep. He grumbled, eyes still shut, as he felt a weight on his chest.
"Lay Lay, don't bother him, he's sleeping!" Brooklyn whispered.
"I just want to make sure he's okay." Jack had to hide the small smile on his face as he listened to his girls worry over him. Aaliyah laid her ear against his chest, listening to his heart and lungs.
"He's still bweathing." She lisped out; her front tooth had fallen out about a week ago.
"What are you doing!" Jack playfully scared both girls, Aaliyah letting out a scream as he tickled her. "Daddy, we were just making sure you were okay." Brooklyn climbed over to Jack on the bed, laying on her belly next to him.
"I'm good, baby. Just a little injury. I'll be better in a couple of days." He stroked her hair, poking her in her side to make her laugh. Aaliyah was still by his chest, her hands stroking his beard. "Did you hurt yourself because you're getting old?" Brooklyn asked so nonchalantly, as if she wondered what they were having for dinner.
Jack chuckled, sitting up a little in the bed. "Hey, I am not old!" He felt a tinge of hurt in his heart at Brooklyn's words, but quickly brushed it off.
"But you have all of these gray hairs in your beard. I thought only old people had gray hair. Papa has a gray beard, and he's really old." Brooklyn countered.
"Yes, old people can get gray hair, but you can also get it when you have two daughters who stress you out all the time. These are stress grays, not old man grays." Jack ran his fingers along his jawline, taking a mental note to look into some hair dye.
Both girls burst into tears, the stress of today's events too much for them. "Hey, what's going on? Why are you crying, what's wrong?" Brooklyn threw herself onto Jack's chest, her small arms barely making it around his torso. "I'm sorry that we stressed you out daddy, and made you have gray hair", she choked out between sobs. Aaliyah followed suit, her nose stuffed up. "We don't want you to go."
"Baby, what? I'm not going anywhere." He pulled her into his side, trying his best to console her in his condition.
"Brooklyn finally looked up, her eyes puffy and red. "Uncle Clay said you were an old man."
"Yeah, he said you were on your debt bed." Aaliyah chimed him, wiping her eyes.
"Ok, Uncle Clay is no longer allowed to babysit. Listen, my sweet girls, sometimes people just hurt themselves, it doesn't mean they're getting old, Uncle Clay was just kidding around, ok?"
You caught the tail end of their conversation as you stood in the doorway, a smile on your face as you listen to Jack reassure your daughters. "Alright girls, time for bed."
"Can't we sleep in here tonight?" Brooklyn looked at you with pitiful eyes from the bed, still cuddling against Jack.
"Daddy needs his rest, and he won't be able to get any sleep with the two of you rolling around all night. Say goodnight." The both gave Jack a quick kiss before leaving, and you trailed behind them. You were stopped in your tracks as Aaliyah ran back in, Jack leaning over so she could give him another kiss, this time on the nose. "Two kisses so you can get better even faster!" She giggled, running out of the room.
****
You sat down on your side of the bed, pulling back the cover as you finished your skincare routine with a bit of lotion on your legs.
"We need to find another babysitter for the girls." Jack grumbled out, watching you crawl into bed. "No we don't, Jack. The girls love Clay, and he loves the time he gets to spend with them. Are you still upset that he called you old today?"
"I am not old! I have like two gray hairs, since when does that make me old?" You held up your hands in surrender, settling down next to him, leaning against the headboard. "I like older men. I think they're sexy."
You scratched at his beard, Jack closing his eyes as he enjoyed you cooing over him. "Ow!" You examined one of the gray hairs you had just plucked from his beard in the light of the side lamp. "Now you only have one." You giggled, but Jack didn't find it funny one bit, holding his face.
"You know you have some gray hairs "down there" right?" Jack eyed your crotch, his eyes traveling up your body. You hurried off the bed, running over to the bathroom mirror, examining your pubic area. "OH MY GOD!" Jack chuckled as he heard you freak out from the bathroom. "How long have those been there, and-why-didn't-you-tell-me?" You edged out between slaps to his chest, Jack groaning. "You spend plenty of time down there."
"I like older women, baby. I think they're sexy." Jack mocked your earlier words.
"If you weren't injured right now..." you warned, laying back down on the bed. You curled up against Jack's side, as he wrapped his arm around your shoulders, pressing a kiss into your hair.
"Good night old man Jackman." You stifled your laugh as you closed your eyes. You couldn't resist getting in one last jab. Jack rolled his eyes as he removed his arm that was around you. "Jack, baby. I was just kidding. I'm sorry." He held up a hand to your puckered lips, rejecting your kiss.
"Good luck finding someone who will go down on you with that grandma wig you have down there." Jack pulled you back in tighter, both of you bursting into laughter.
