Israeli news had an interesting moment when discussing the campus protests, it surprised me.

One of them asked something like, "and are we sure this is motivated by antisemitism? I feel that if we dismiss things as antisemitic, we can miss other discussions that can be had. Oh, they're just antisemites, we can't talk to them - meanwhile there are other deep issues."

The other person replied about going to study in the US years ago and said that the American public really doesn't seem to separate Jewish people from Israelis and they have a hard time grasping the strength that Israel has and the marginalization of Jewish people coexisting.

It does feel like dancing around the reality of Israeli atrocities, talking about "strength" like that's the issue here. But. Not a bad point. And it's the first time I see a question about the axiomatic view that "anti-Israel=antisemitism."

I wish I could listen again, it was on the radio and I can't find a recording.

Turtle Ducks ^^ Took my time to create a more detailed piece in the last couple of days! I recently rewatched Avatar and really enjoyed all the scenes where Zuko and Iroh were featured! It made me so nostalgic, so I decided to paint this as an homage to these awesome characters! Hope you like it :)
