OK so late night/ early morning #throwback because I just found this picture & I’m about to travel again so TOPICAL. This pic has *zero filter* on it (yes) because the Orlando sunset is magical, especially when combined with a dirty iPhone camera ✨ (also I’m wearing bear ears, as was the rest of #teamkupa!) 🐻🤓🖤 @themikesnyder & I are getting on a plane to MI in a few hours, & tbh it’s going to be one of the best trips of our lives! I seriously cannot wait to see you, Kalamazoo! 💚💥🌲🍺(<- my makeshift #vernors emoji!)

Gilda forever!! 💙💙💙 #Repost @womenshistory with @get_repost ・・・ Comedian and original Saturday Night Live cast member Gilda Radner was born #OnThisDay in 1946. • Radner was born in Detroit, Michigan, and became interested in theater when her father took her to see local productions as a child. Radner briefly studied theater at the University of Michigan before moving to Toronto to join an offshoot of the famous Chicago comedy troupe Second City. In the early 1970s, she moved to New York City with John Belushi to work on The National Lampoon Radio Hour, and her big break came in 1975 when Lorne Michaels asked her to be a part of the cast of a new show—Saturday Night Live. Radner stayed on the show for five years, creating hilarious and notable characters such as the newscaster Roseanne Rosannadanna, Baba Wawa, and Emily Litella. She earned an Emmy Award in 1978 for her work on SNL. In 1979, Radner appeared on Broadway in a one-woman show titled Gilda Radner - Live From New York. After leaving SNL in 1980, Radner transitioned to film roles, and in 1984, she married fellow actor Gene Wilder. • Two years later, she was diagnosed with end-stage ovarian cancer and wrote about her experience with cancer in the 1989 memoir, It's Always Something. After her death in May 1989, her husband established Gilda's Club, a cancer support organization for cancer patients and their families, in her memory. #WomensHistory • Photo by Solters and Roskin. • • • • #NWHM #WomenMakingHistory #TheMoreYouKnow #WomeninComedy #WomeninHollywood #HerStory #TellHerStory #WashingtonDC #NationalMall #DidYouKnow #NationalWomensHistoryMuseum #SeeHer #KnowHerName #HistoryMaker #HiddenFigures

Today marks 12 years of sobriety for me! I spent the day shooting videos with pals, lounging with cats (here’s Beatrice Cupcake, Lulu Belle was sleeping), eating food with some people that I love, watching The INCREDIBLES with my husband, texting besties about their kids, getting cute gifs from my sister, and spending a long drive talking to my mom on the phone. If I continued to self destruct, I wouldn’t have been able to do any of those things that make my heart feel so full. Self harm has lasting physical and mental effects. Remember that even when things are their absolute worst and you feel like you’re at rock bottom, there’s a part of you that can pull yourself up. I still struggle sometimes, but I have an amazing support system. (Shoutout specifically to @themikesnyder who’s seen me at my absolute worst and continues to hold my hand though it all!) Please remember to love yourself, and that you don’t deserve anything less than amazing. 🖤🖤🖤 If you’re an addict of any kind and need help, call 844-244-3171 If you struggle with any type of disordered eating, call 800-931-2237 If you’re struggling with your mental health, call 800-273-8255 🖤🖤🖤 (at Silver Lake, Los Angeles)

Sometimes several drunk people decide they want to fight *everyone* & ruin the end of a show. How can an artist give a speech about having a good time and positivity, and 10 minutes later literally 6 people are fighting each other *and* security guards? PSA: be a nice person, don’t ruin the night for others. Enjoy the moment, like this point when @katenash sang one of my favorite songs with the audience. Be nice!!Have fun!! Fucking relax!! 🌟💙😸🎉 (at Fonda Theatre)

My grandma and I didn’t get a chance to become particularly close. More and more (especially this past week), I’m realizing that we had a lot in common. Everything from weird food allergies, opinions on bizarre things and we even kind of look similar (a big deal for me, as I’ve spent the majority of my life not looking like any of my relatives). While looking for an old picture, I found our wedding guestbook and hers was the first entry I turned to. Pretty good advice from a lady who was happily married, widowed, and luckily enough to become happily married a second time. (at Silver Lake, Los Angeles)
