push yourself to get up before the rest of the world - start with 7am, then 6am, then 5:30am. go to the nearest hill with a big coat and a scarf and watch the sun rise.
push yourself to fall asleep earlier - start with 11pm, then 10pm, then 9pm. wake up in the morning feeling re-energized and comfortable.
get into the habit of cooking yourself a beautiful breakfast. fry tomatoes and mushrooms in real butter and garlic, fry an egg, slice up a fresh avocado and squirt way too much lemon on it. sit and eat it and do nothing else.
stretch. start by reaching for the sky as hard as you can, then trying to touch your toes. roll your head. stretch your fingers. stretch everything.
buy a 1L water bottle. start with pushing yourself to drink the whole thing in a day, then try drinking it twice.
buy a beautiful diary and a beautiful black pen. write down everything you do, including dinner dates, appointments, assignments, coffees, what you need to do that day. no detail is too small.
strip your bed of your sheets and empty your underwear draw into the washing machine. put a massive scoop of scented fabric softener in there and wash. make your bed in full.
organise your room. fold all your clothes (and bag what you don’t want), clean your mirror, your laptop, vacuum the floor. light a beautiful candle.
have a luxurious shower with your favourite music playing. wash your hair, scrub your body, brush your teeth. lather your whole body in moisturiser, get familiar with the part between your toes, your inner thighs, the back of your neck.
push yourself to go for a walk. take your headphones, go to the beach and walk. smile at strangers walking the other way and be surprised how many smile back. bring your dog and observe the dog’s behaviour. realise you can learn from your dog.
message old friends with personal jokes. reminisce. suggest a catch up soon, even if you don’t follow through. push yourself to follow through.
think long and hard about what interests you. crime? sex? boarding school? long-forgotten romance etiquette? find a book about it and read it. there is a book about literally everything.
become the person you would ideally fall in love with. let cars merge into your lane when driving. pay double for parking tickets and leave a second one in the machine. stick your tongue out at babies. compliment people on their cute clothes. challenge yourself to not ridicule anyone for a whole day. then two. then a week. walk with a straight posture. look people in the eye. ask people about their story. talk to acquaintances so they become friends.
lie in the sunshine. daydream about the life you would lead if failure wasn’t a thing. open your eyes. take small steps to make it happen for you.

anti-binge guide
when you feel a craving coming on:
drink a glass or two of water, slowly
have a piece of fruit, like an apple
make some warm herbal tea with natural sweetener
go for a long walk or hike, put your earphones in and clear your head - walk with a friend if you’d prefer
if you’re still craving the food, have the tiniest bit of it, no more than a bite, and have another glass of water
distractions:
watch a long movie or start a new show
study! complete homework or begin revising for exams
write down your own thinspo imagines
do some online window shopping and look at all the outfits you want to wear at a smaller size
make your own thinspo playlist
do some yoga or meditation
things to keep in mind:
you already know what your favourite foods taste like - you don’t need to eat them again in bulk
imagine the amount of progress you’ll make tomorrow if you exercise self control right now
the shame and guilt that follows a binge is not worth it
the physical pain and exhaustion is not worth it
you’re not just affecting your weight, you’re affecting your overall health, your mental well-being, your skin
binging means you’re wasting your time when you could be doing something much more productive

Unless you’ve experienced an eating disorder first hand, you have no freaking clue the amount of torture that is endured. It’s not chic messy buns, trendy black coffee, and politely saying “no” to a slice of pizza. It’s shaking hands from malnourishment, crying at the thought of eating a meal in front of another human being, and watching your hair fall out in clumps because bulimia has stripped you of everything from your nutrients to the long locks everyone once adored and complimented you on. You start seeing the world through fuzzy, hollowed eyes and nothing makes sense anymore. You completely lose who you are and you’re fighting a war against yourself where losing is winning and being sick feels like an accomplishment.

♡ BREAKFAST:
- acai bowl/oatmeal with fruit (passionfruit, dragonfruit, or any tropical fruit) with a handful of raw almonds
or
- 1 of 3 smoothies including:
green smoothie:
2 cups spinach leaves, packed
1 ripe pear, peeled, cored, and chopped
15 green or red grapes
2 tablespoons chopped avocado
1 or 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
red smoothie:

Some things I think about to motivate me when restricting:
1. How good I’ll look 2 months from now if I just stick it out
2. The time is going to pass anyway so why not spend that time improving myself
3. The food I so desperately crave will still be around once I reach my ugw
4. The! Outfits! I! Can! Finally! Wear!
5. Having people finally be attracted to me and thirsting over how good I look
6. Being able to rock cute hairstyles/colors and not being self conscious of if it’ll make my face look fat
7. Having a sharp ass jawline
8. Running my hands over my body and easily feeling my bones stick out without having to push through a layer of fat to feel them
9. To hear “have you lost weight?” And “you look so good!”
10. People will actually notice me
11. I’ll finally feel worthy of having a boyfriend/girlfriend

’i’ll never be able to look like that’
i’ve recently been having this mindset drop. whenever i gain weight/binge/anything like that, i just automatically go into ‘’well whatever you were meant to be a fat bitch and you’ll never be able to look like that’’ -mode and it’s eating away my attempts at restricting etc. does anyone have tips for overcoming it? i’ll appreciate every response a ton!
