Still not 100% recovered from that damn cold—my voice still a bit shot; but… Gotta keep the body moving and healthy, you know? Dude… This new gym/program is really helping me get results! I started on the black band for sets of 10/15 but could only get about 3-4 reps on the purple in one go. Now, I’m doing 8-10 clean in one go on the purple (smallest) band. Pretty soon, I won’t need a band at all! All in just over two weeks! I’m really working hard and I’m very proud of what I’m getting done. I sincerely want to get into great shape and not be overweight anymore. I’ve neglected my health for long enough—so, while you can probably do better, I’m very proud of this improvement for me! :) And..? I’ve lost about ten pounds! Finally! I was well enough to go do some weight training this morning! Some wretched voice actor-person gave me a damn cold in Atlanta and I’m finally on the mend! Voice ain’t 100% yet but I really needed to hoist and push weighted metal bars to get my brain feeling good. Last day of the conference workout for #VOAtlanta! Mostly conditioning today and it was a shorter one but I did four rounds of push-ups too, just to add a little cayenne to the gumbo. Two years in a row that I’ve worked out every morning at the conference—I’m proud of myself! Last night was a late one too and I’m running (literally) on very little sleep.
