is active* (proceeding in entropy), the activity takes place in three scales:
micro: the change is observable in the moment of observation
meso: the change is an effect of movement of the empirical center, an observer
macro: the change is not observable in the moment of observation, but in a larger time scope
*all activity is judged from human’s scale, an antropocentric approach derived from the definition of form (e.n. https://janstawiarski.tumblr.com/post/163687961662/metal-almaty-warsaw-2017-form-is)

Rhythm introduces the concept of scale in time. Although the elements shown above are in state of constant change in small time scale (each frame is different from another), in bigger scale the process is looped, therefore it does not change.

¶ Terminology update: form emphasises the boundaries, while body – the mass of content. ¶  Jan Stawiarski noted, that the processes of cognition occur in time, & therefore time per se, being the enviornment of experience, cannot be felt. Hence, bodies cannot be experienced either. Process is the only element of reality, within the reach of human cognitive abilities.

The concept of the Open Form (Forma Otwarta) by Oskar Hansen – some of the principles & my interpretation. ¶ The artist does not construct a closed (fixed) artefact, but rather creates the possibilites of interpretation in multiple contexts & initiates processes. ¶ The artistic artefact, created in accordance with the principles of OF, is always ready to become reinterpreted in the light of the contemporary & constantly changing reality. ¶ The receiver is both a spectator & an actor, obliged to interpret the artefact. He is the causative factor of art taking place within the structures created by the artist. ¶ The artefact is eternal, therefore the artistic means are never squandered in the process of its creation. ¶ The artefact is subject to processes & transformations. ¶ The OF respects the individuality of the receiver/user/spectator/participant. ¶ Clarity & comunicativeness are among the most important characteristics of an OF artefact. ¶ Closed (fixed?) Form is a system, which is invariable in time & dogmatic. ¶ Closed Form is the fundamental element. Open Form is constructed out of multiple Closed-Form components. Moreover, it is the sum of interrelations between those components – both temporal & spatial.

¶ Experiencing the structure of a surface (texture – facture) is a dynamic process. The hand is subjective, active, reactive & sensitive. ¶ Space is always static. Most objects are static too. The receiver-user is dynamic at all times & enclosed within his mental meta-space of expectations and conclusions derived from previous experiences.

Closed recording of an open process.
Tracing of an environment in a public bus number 502. 1 Praskiego Pułku was the first stop, Saska was the last one. Warsaw. Creation of open form is only possible when we embrace the state of closed form.
The freedom of form is restricted by the tools used while drawing, however the physical environment surrounding the one holding the tools, as well as the creator’s mood, are everchanging, therefore always developing.

Closed recording of an open process.
The way I draw dots is vulnerable to the state in which I am in particular moment. For example, a dot drawn in anger would be much heavier than one drawn in sadness.
Each group of dots represents different emotional state.
The numbers above groups state the date and time of execution.
