Day 9 #21daysinmyartworld Where the art happens. I have a lovely light room which is in the centre of the house “The Art Room”. I also have a workspace at one end of the very messy garage (soon to be cleared and reorganised) and this is where I can mix concrete and plaster. I find that once I’m in the zone of making I end up working everywhere.. Day 7 of #21daysinmyartworld - Inspiration....my overarching work is about colour and how it can affect ones emotions... it is my intention that I create work that is uplifting. #21daysinmyartworld Day 4 current challenge- for me is that because I follow my heart and intuition so much I end up making so many different #artworks .. all have a common theme as I take my inspiration from The River Tees ... my best selling #heartshaped #pendants and #jewellerydishes #ceramics #concrete #sculptures and now I’m going back to creating with #wire #sculpture I’m just all over the place ! #21daysinmyartworld Day 3 WIP I love to make hanging sculptures and so going back to my love of creating sculptures using wire I have decided to do some drawings which I will manipulate with colour in photoshop. I will also experiment with natural and manmade found materials by combining them with colourful resin. My hope is that the sunlight or artificial light directed at the sculptures might create interesting shadows with pools of colour which will be uplifting and send out positive energy.
