The Future of Video – At  Toronto’s Elevate Technology Conference with Anjali Sud, CEO, Vimeo  & Samantha Barry, Editor-in-Chief, Glamour Magazine.

The  usage, spend and consumption of video content are set to increase in  2020. According to “The 5th Annual State of Video Marketing Survey”  conducted by Wyzowl, video is a growth trend that shows no sign of  slowing down.

In fact, the study found…

• More marketers use video content than ever before

• 2019 was a big year, but 2020 will be bigger

• Consumers love video as a learning tool

• YouTube is getting harder

• Vertical video might not be as big a deal as we thought

In  2017, Wyzowl discovered that 63% of businesses were using video as a  marketing tool. By the start of 2018, that stat jumped to 81%. In 2019,  the number increased again to 87%.
