My music, my influences, my feelings

Hi, my name is Jana, I am 21, I am a young musician from Paris. I am passionate about electro and black metal music. I listen to albums by Crystal Castles, Lifelover, Silencer or Psychonaut 4 on repeat.

In my first EP (The Seven Seals of God), I mix witch house and black metal. There are elements of found footage and others that I record in my daily life, that I sample in order to create new sound and visual associations.

My songs address the theme of the mysticism surrounding the occult but also speak of pain and loneliness. The first track of the EP, "Occult 2007", is the perfect song to enter my universe, with its sample of Hypocrisy. I wrote and produced this song, just after a breakup. It is this same feeling of freedom and loneliness that I feel when listening to it.

I create my songs when I go out at nightfall because the nighttime city is another city. "Bathory" (sampled from Monsoon) and "Stop Suffering" perfectly symbolize my desperate wandering, both in their titles and in their compositions.

I link my songs. Tell me how they make you feel when you first listen to them. For me, they make me feel like I'm going to die very soon. But almost peacefully. Not entirely peacefully, but with less fear than most.
