so for my creative writing class i made an avatar au where the humans and na'vi coexist on planet Earth. the na'vi people live on an island settled in the middle of africa and north america, and i made the na'vi look like the metkayina people!! basically the premise is that some fuckass humans are killing the na'vi and eating them. they're also burning the bones and organs as a "fuck you" to them. so basically the main character Tala (i may have stolen that name from moana) has to figure all of this out and then hunt down the humans and kill them so they learn their lesson. spoiler alert: she gets shot and dies. also when she's talking about her experience in the afterlife, she sees her littlest sister Kanuta. She runs up to Tala and tells her it's time for lunch. "Mama made our favorites!"

the depiction of Tala and her family means that the humans were able to infiltrate the island and kill them all, including the children. very sad i know :((

pooksters i need help i have an au stuck in my head and i physically cannot get it out like its running around in my brain and i failed my math test because of it 😭😭

So basically imagine being Jake's girlfriend back on Earth and he has those days where he just refuses to believe that you actually love him. He doesn't understand that you love him no matter what, and it hurts you to see him hate himself. So, when he gets called to Pandora, you go with him. You have no experience with battle, and especially not otherworldly combat. But you couldn't bear the thought of him dying on Pandora and you not being there. There was also a twinge of fear he would find someone else.

So you go with him. Everything canon happens (except for him falling for neytiri) and he gets his soul transferred to his avatar body. You decide to live as one of the People with him, so you do it as well.

You two live happily ever after la la la 🎶 but you miss how creative you were as a human. So you start writing songs, especially love songs for Jake. You decide to sing them to the other Na'vi for many reasons. The children love the melodies and lyrics, and it helps the People to learn English.

(for this ima use the song 'Lover' by Taylor Swift shush)

The first song you sing to them is a song you wrote called 'Lover' and Jake walks in on you singing it to the children of the clan. You're holding a stick to imitate a microphone, and you're giving them a little performance.

Jake sits down with the children and watches you until you're done. The children are loving it and squealing for more.

"Who's that about?" he chuckles after the children calm. "You. I don't know who could ever have me lovestruck like you, Jake Sully." You giggle.
