self hating trans people no matter how hard you kiss cis peoples asses and repeat their dumbass jokes you are never gonna be cis. so maybe unpack why other trans people trigger you so heavily before you become a kalvin garrah or caitlin jenner who have no friends because they internalized hatred for their own community while thinking that was gonna help them with cis people. but cis people don't respect them either because their only common ground is transphobia. and they've isolated themselves from their community for saying hateful shit nonstop and will somehow blame Everyone but themselves for that. so then they are literally just alone with their self hatred and are like. why am I so miserable and hate myself for being trans wow maybe I'll make fun of some more transgender people and that'll help me! at the end of the day it's literally just internalized transphobia and self hatred it's incredibly obvious to everyone, but why unpack that when we could lean in and think it's Edgy Different Revolutionary to make fun of trans people for how they look on the internet all day. that'll have no negative effects on anyone involved

in light of police across the country cracking down on pro palestine protests with brutal force, it feels like a great time to remind everyone to shut the fuck up around cops. don't make small talk, dont act friendly, don't fucking engage with them!! if you are arrested DO NOT speak without a lawyer present. protest organizers, get into contact with local pro bono lawyers who can be there for your arrested comrades. no matter what, if cops are there, shut the fuck up unless you are actively doing a protest chant. dont tell cops why you were there, dont tell them if you're affiliated with the school you may be protesting at, dont tell them if you came there with anyone, dont tell them anything!!!

I think a lot of egg discourse comes from four things:

It's the aggressive hate of transfem and anything connecting transfemninity; Like a lot of people don't share the same heat of egg jokes from enbies or transmacs.

It's a overwhelming belief as if transfems have the power to do ANYTHING in both LGBTQ+ spaces and public spaces. Mate, I don't know what world you are in thinking transfem hypervisibily gives them any possible advantages? Literally, mate, it's never been more easy to get anyone to turn on a tran woman; what universe you think we are at where trans women hold all the power? Cause holy hell, can I go there?

I'm going to say this: the hypothetical gnc cis men people uses to argument are lame. Listen, is it true that we live in the society that force gender roles on men that limit their freedom of expression? Yes. Is it true that social pressure and constant nagging of someone's gender can lead to disaster? Yes. But I'm also going to say to assume that gnc cis man is somehow unable to ask to not make egg jokes from a interaction with a transfem is stupid.

Lastly, generally, I think a lot of egg jokes from transfem comes from an genuine place of acceptance and community that comes up in inappropriate ways, sometimes.

Personally, I do find some egg jokes a little werid given the fact I'm uncomfortable at joking about speculation of someone's gender; I'll walk down that road, but it's always view in such bad faith light that you can't divorce the fact that the way we talk about egg discourse and the transfems having fun with it comes from transmisogyny biases and how we consider transfemninity as a lesser form of gender.
