Munch died.

Hi, everyone.

My ex-housemate texted me to let me know that Munch died last week. This was sudden and quite unexpected.

Since several of you were/are fans of Munch, I thought it best to let you all know so that you can grieve accordingly. You are welcome to reply to this post or send messages for me to pass along to her father.

I hadn't lived with Munch for a few years, but I will always love her. She was an absolutely beautiful cat, great at playing, swift as the wind, a talented huntress, and a beloved member of all of her father's families.

She was never scared of anything, even if she really should have been. She would have an honest try of eating anything meat, even if it was way too big for her (and succeed even so), friendly (and bitey) to everyone, even strangers. She even loved her annoying little brother with grace and good humour, even when he got in her personal space and tried to squish her.

Munch earned her place in Valhalla. She was a fighter, adventurer and intrepid explorer. In her heart she never forgot that she was a lion, even if her body did. May her bowl always be full of milk, her plate full of meat and cheese from the warrior's feast, her claws always sharp and her fangs always capable of shearing through the toughest of bones. I have no doubt she will hunt forever with the bravest of our forefathers. I hope they have hair ties to throw for her and tools for her to lie on.

I love you so much, beautiful baby girl. Goodbye.

Minecraft’s back on the menu boys!

My minecraft server is back up and running. I’m playing with a friend so I decided to shell out enough to rent a server that actually works.

Ergh, speak for yourself. I am of undisclosed adult age and I am currently living for the first time in a dwelling that has air con.

Back in my day/location air con was considered to be a very much bougie (lit. ‘family with large amount of disposable income’) thing to have. None of my family would be considered poor but I never had a christmas in an air conditioned environment.

Do Australians, I don't know, go to the beach on Christmas? Since it is basically summer for you guys

Some go to the beach. Some do family stuff at houses. Some don't do anything. Some go to a venue.

We also pretty commonly have air conditioning and ceiling fans, and 99% of establishments have them, too, so we're not quietly sweltering in 40 degree heat, unless you live out in a rural area, in which case... yeah it's real hot. But that seems to be the case with rural places in most countries when it comes to extreme temperatures. Also, there are way more houses with pools here than there are in other Western countries.

Australia is very technologically modern, and the infrastructure is made to reliably mitigate the influence of heat.

I'm sorry I'm still not active around here, just struggled trying to get to grips with my old characters again but also don't want to discard them in an attempt to reinvigorate a blog no one sees. It feels like a grave yard scrolling through those I followed or followed me and seeing [Updated 1 year ago] with the oldest being [Updated 3 years ago]. I miss everyone but feel there would be no hope in getting anyone back to talk to

I am afraid that, despite everybody’s best efforts, I am still me.

I moved out of my ex-housemate’s house, and therefore away from his two horrible cats. I miss his horrible cats, but not their fleas.

I had the covid in January, the worst part about that was being stuck in my tiny room for 9 days straight.

Everything else is just normal, steady.

Most of the people here seem to have gone. I miss them.

Due to personal reasons, I have recently figured out how to convert units of both weight and length into burgers in order to be more culturally approachable to americans.

Let me know if you’d like anything converted.

Next time I do measurements here I’ll be sure to fetch a sextant, an AR-15 and an eagle’s skull so that I can work out the distance in freedom units for all my American followers

For all my american friends, i have done some calculations and have determined that I am 34.5 burgers tall and weigh approximately 455 burgers.

Here’s another two for you:

Lotta nerve endings in those adorable long pointy ears. He didn’t have particularly sensitive ears as a human, but post-embrace? Hoo boy. If you stroke them you will end up with a lapful of melted vampire, which is a lot less adorable and more disconcerting than it sounds - vampires don’t need to breathe unless they want to talk, so when he’s completely relaxed you literally have a deformed corpse in your lap. Which is gross. But don’t tell him that it’ll hurt his feelings. 

Stroking them - yes. Massaging them - yes. Squeezing them - gently, yes. Scratches - no. Nibbling, licking, nipping - yes, but that takes things in a totally different direction and he doesn’t want to be engaging in any zoophilia out here yes he does

Has a bit of a Thing for heat sources that aren’t fire. Hot baths/showers, hot water bottles, space heaters, electric blankets, heat exhausts from refrigeration/AC units, body heat...

Post-embrace Pete really has that uglycute look going for him, huh

He really does make it work for him and I don't think I'm getting over it anytime soon. He has punched the heart out of my chest and is using it as a stress ball rn 😂
