"Nope! I can handle this, it is my duty after all. Though I thank you for the offer." She pats the stack of papers, giving a small hospitable laugh in her attempt to remain kind in her refusal. "Don’t mind me— I’ll be quiet as a mouse!"

"Here--" He placed the documents on the fukutaichou's table. Blinking, the blond boy wondered when this guy had been appointed to this new position. Wanting to waste time today, Shō decided to just ask a few questions. "Hey. What's it like being vice-captain?"

                             Pulled from his thoughts for a meager moment,                                 blue optics glance at the source of the voice,                                     only to follow with the smallest of sighs.                                                                               “—Yeah, alright.                                                                                 Give ‘em here.”

"....", he gave a low groaned. He really doesn't want to do the job the captain asked for, but it was too late now. Shō is already holding the papers for him. At that moment, he scratched the back of his head. "Fine, fine.. I'll do it." At least it's better than doing paperwork. He would've procrastinate through that.

"… Well…~"

He was a busy man after wall. Assuming the slouched position with the feeble hand behind his head, he gave a small laugh. “I’ve been up for a while— deliverin’ these things to everyone.” As if to emphasize his point, he pulled out a thicker stack to which the rest were still undelivered. “I’d do it myself if I wasn’t on a time crunch.”

"…." He thought about the name the other gave for a brief moment now, and nothing came to this blond male’s mind. Shō has no clue who this guy is. "Ueda Shō. Seventh seat of Hachibantai. What do you want, Aya-san?" The last name was too long for him to say.

"Ayasegawa Yumichika, fifth seat of the Jūichibantai." Came the cool reply, a slender brow arching at the bluntness of the question- or perhaps the fact that this child didn’t seem to recognize him. Everyone recognized him! 

"Who are you?"

"It's Hokori-san..", he mumbled. He knew of her name, but never of who she was.  The blond male just simply waved to her. "Um.. Hi."

So, this guy knew he was a Shinigami? Shou shrugged. "I don't really want anything from you, really.", he said. Though he's curious why the orange-haired male has this ability to see him. "I was just doing Shinigami business, and my name is Shō Ueda."

      “Haaah?” Some nobody had just called out to him, causing the Quincy to turn and study him, instantly a look odd dislike, of mistrust over-took his features. “What does a Shinigami want from me?” he demanded, eyes hard as he stared coldly at the other. “…State your name and purpose here.”

"Good to hear." She gives a friendly smile— trying to come across well. "You guess correct. I have some deliveries… and a few things I wanted to see. Not that I wouldn’t visit for other odd reasons if they were necessary."

His eyebrows furrowed. Somehow, he knew something like this was going to happen. And yet Shō decides to take the few sheets from the captain’s hand. "Can’t you just do it yourself..?", he asked. The former hachibantai captain should know where office is, unless Kyouraku-taichou is lazy to do it.

Reaching into the innard of his kimono, his hand rustled around before, finally, sliding out a few sheets of paperwork.

Offering it to the subordinate, he gave a tiny nod before inquiring, “Mind puttin’ these on the captain’s desk so whoever’s in charge can get to ‘em?”
