Berries seem so early ripe this year it feels odd. In fact the whole garden has grown beyond my thought and care.

Walk to clear my head, practice singing over the sounds of the waves and birds singing. Pacific ocean near Vancouver, Canada.

I live in a shared home because the rents are too high in Vancouver, CA, to live on my own.  Unfortunately, I am not in a safe environment, so I find beaches and other secluded places to practice. Seems fundamental but if my home isn't a safe place singing isn't going to happen.

High rents, a .5 % vacancy and waitlist at BC Housing have kept me where I am for a while now.  Fortunately, a relative has a beautiful two bedroom condo I can rent coming available in about 6 months.  Great discount on the rent so I can live alone.

A home to feel safe in, play my piano and enjoy the solitude.  Not long from now I can sing in my own space.
