I honestly never thought I’d see Rachel/Diamondback in the MCU, so l'm very surprised that she’s gonna be in Cap 4! There are two things I hope they DON'T do with her:

1.) make her a one-and-done villain that has a 5 minute fight scene with Sam and then she's never seen again cuz she either got killed off or sent to the Raft

and 2.) make her Sam's love interest just cuz she was with Steve in the comics and the writers are too lazy to do their research on Sam's big love interests.

I mean yeah, she did flirt with Sam a few times, but they were never on a “OMG I LOVE YOU AND I WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH YOU" level. But I really won’t be surprised if the MCU does put them together. I just hope it doesn’t affect SamMisty in the comics.

And fandom-wise, l'm nervous for Rachel. SamB*cky stans might hate on her cuz she "gets in the way of their ship” and it'll be the Sharon/Emily and St*veB*cky chronicles all over again 😭 I DO NOT want a repeat of that shit!

But if the MCU writes her as a villain-turned-hero, I could see her having a lot of fans cuz most people love characters like her, which would be nice! I also hope us Sharon stans won't have to see any Rachel stans using her to hate on Sharon, but some were already doing that long before she joined the MCU, so there will no doubt be an increase in that behavior by the time Cap 4 comes out. I’ll do my best to ignore it 🙄 Most of the Rachel stans I’ve seen are pretty chill.

Anyways, I can't wait to finally see Rachel in live action with her bright pink ass wig (or maybe she'll dye her hair)! Rosa Salazar is going to act her ass off (if she IS playing her) and I hope us Rosa/Rachel and Emily/Sharon stans can get along!

I still can’t believe that Cap 4 is keeping S4bra’s bitch ass in the movie AND she’s getting a McDonald’s toy! Someone on Twitter said “Imagine being a Palestinian child and opening a happy meal to be met with a 'hero' that represents the very state trying to wipe you from existence.”

Like, if they wanted a female character that’s around to help Sam so bad, they could’ve used Misty or Sharon, two people that he is actually close to in the comics (his girlfriend and one of his best friends), instead of Captain G3n0cide/Captain Isr43l!!!

God, I am so damn tired of the MCU UWU-ifying characters that are racists and N*zi’s and turning them into heroes! This is one of the main reasons I’m so glad I’ve only spent money on two (2) MCU-related things since 2019! (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Eternals)

Just had flashbacks to when there was this one anonymous MCU confessions account on Twitter and my confession pissed off several MCU PeterMJ stans cuz I said:

MCU PeterMJ's development is worse than MCU SteveSharon's. Imagine having two beautiful couples from the comics and barely letting them interact in the movies, only to rush them into a relationship! Shit, I've seen fan videos that were only 30 seconds give them better development!

When my confession got posted, I saw comments like “They are teenagers, it's realistic for their relationship to happen fast”, “Why are you comparing a high school relationship to an adults?”, “You think SteveSharon is good?!”, and “it was not rushed at all the seeds were planted from the very first movie”

Um… If the development of a ship is better in edits and fanfics that came out YEARS before they actually got together... Obviously those seeds weren't planted very well 😳 If you call Peter and MJ having 3 short ass conversations and him barely acknowledging her existence in the first movie to him liking her out of nowhere and them getting together in the next one "development"... Please raise your standards...

I’ve seen plenty of ships from shows/movies where the characters are in high school and the writers actually give their relationship time to develop before smacking them together, just like I’ve seen stuff where the characters are adults and the writers put them together way too fast.

And also, SteveSharon WAS GOOD, but the MCU fucked that up too by what? BARELY LETTING THEM INTERACT BEFORE THE KISS SCENE!

The only reason a lot of y’all go so hard for MCU PeterMJ and Michelle Jones as a character is because PeterMJ is a one of (if not the most) popular ship in Marvel, y’all ship Tomdaya irl, and Zendaya, aka the people’s Princess, is the one playing MJ. Cuz if it weren’t for that, I know damn well a lot of y’all wouldn’t be out here calling them “the best MCU ship” or hyping up MJ like that.

I mean, it’s been 3 whole ass movies, and we still DON’T KNOW SHIT about MCU-MJ’s personal life! I know Zendaya’s getting a huge Marvel check so she probably doesn’t give a fuck about the way MJ is written, but she deserves to play so much more than “the girlfriend with dark humor, no character development, and no personal interests outside what her boyfriend likes”! 😭

There are so many comic-MJ moments, traits, and looks that she could play to the fucking T and they just… won’t let her do it cuz Jon Watts thinks his version of MJ is better 🙄 But back to my original point, MCU PeterMJ has dookie development and I hope this soft reboot NWH gave them will be a do-over with better writing
