Did you know these 1995′s demos “This Is Only The Beggining” were recorded just by Ville and Linde?

 Ville played the drums and sung, whilst Linde played the guitar and bass.

This demo is very heavy and gloomy, I guess it was their influences back in the days, it’s a very Black Sabbath-ish material. Then Mige heard it after he came back from the military service and loved it. That was how HIM started for real.

Just 3 young boys who loved music and wanted to play it together, inspired by their favorite bands, wanting to be like them.

Proud of what they became after all this years. Wonder what they think of when they listen to these songs… It might be very nostalgic. And I bet they are proud of how far they’ve gone after that too.
