Realm Keeper
The way you're blown by strong wind around
Upon the water keeps flowing through
On the crops grow through nothing but you
Wounded by people's idiocy of your true value
The world, however, looks at you down
For them, you're no one but a mainstay
Wanted you to care about your subjects
Not knowing it's you who yearns for protection
Men's desiderata are everything you've bestowed
But it's men who locked their knives on you
Trashes are thrown
And there you're destroyed by pollution
 Astonishing beauty of vicinity
Battered by gibberish body
The earth is on its edge
Struggling the war against garbage
World's destiny lies on your quality
Of which everything is on our palm
Shouldn't be all about give and take
But a goodness to all we can make

The Real World Game (Flash Fiction)
“Buggy! Buggy, wake up! Time for school. Buggy!”              As soon as he opens his eyes, Buggy got dazzled by sunlight passed through the glass window. Hearing his father’s words made his morning terrible. As reminiscent of other usual days, Buggy detests studying. The only thing visible in his mind is a programmable electronic device that allows him to dive into another world. Every moment he currently has does not include his family, instead, Role-Playing Game swallows up all his time.               As part of the modern age, Buggy is a devotee of Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online (VRMMO). He ran through computer-simulated environment wishing it to be his physical existence. He hungers for fictitious incidents that VRMMO made him run into. He liked how he draws his swords, became a gunslinger, and the best one of all is the way how freely he flies. All these entities exist only in the game. Without thinking about his studies, every free time of his is expended throughout VRMMO. From the time being, until the next day, and the day after, VRMMO drained his innumerable seconds.            In one moment, Buggy realized something psychic in the real world. Whatever he does and wherever he goes, a thought keeps coming through the mind “this is real.” He believed finding his soul in the VRMMO that literally became his reality and his real-world merging with his game. Buggy, then, felt extreme delight for running into things he badly dreamed of. After days of wandering, it was like his game has conquered the real world and he was there physically living in a game. As it was a game, Buggy did level up and possessed boundless treasure, yet has endless desires.              After a long time, Buggy feels he was all alone. A solo player who only has money but doesn’t have company. There, he wonders where his family is. He looked for his mom and dad thinking they possibly got into the real world of game. Despite having all the wealth, Buggy felt empty, longed for his family, and is afraid of meditating that he won’t have the chance to see them again. The delightful feelings he once had has been replaced by extreme sorrow.              It was then that he reflected how terrible his way of life was. He now abhorred not spending his time with his parents when they were still around. Doubting his decision, Buggy pondered if it is time to give up. He can’t do anything and was thinking to finish his life up. In all his time, witnessing death wasn’t before him even once. After his reflection, Buggy jumped off a cliff without hesitation. While still falling, Buggy heard his mom calling his name out: “Buggy! Buggy, it’s time to go! Buggy, wake up! Buggy!” Finally, Buggy woke up from his horrible dream.

Reki Kawahara (Biography)
On the 17th of August 1974, Reki Kawahara was born and started his early life in Gunma Prefecture, in the Kantō region of Honshu, Japan. Kawahara has two younger sisters. In his college years, he was in the Manga Studies Club, an organization that allows students who share a passion for Japanese animation and comics to express their manga knowledge and cosplay experiences. There, Kawahara drew illustrations during his time. He would often go to arcade with his fellow members to play fighting games and has been fonder of it over a period. He also started playing online games in 1998, starting with Ultima Online. Kawahara also played Ragnarok Online, his most played game (although he stated World of Warcraft during Sakura-Con 2013), and Phantasy Star Online. Kawahara tried to draw manga, but the work became too dull as manga required too many things to do before putting down his ideas. Despite of this fact, he still started to take up writing since it’s more enjoying coming up with stories than dealing with the complete failure.               During his time as a writer, there are times he got turned down after writing fabulous works since they didn’t qualify below the rules. In Fall of 2001, Kawahara decided to apply for the 9th Dengeki Game Novel Grand Prix (Dengeki Game Shousetsu Taishou). He had no prior writing experience and only read other works. Kawahara finished Sword Art Online (SAO) in 2002, but he was turned down because it exceeded the page limit by 120 pages. Dengeki Bunko strictly forbids bending its rules. Kawahara didn't have the skills or will to trim it down, so he gave up at that point. After giving up, in a period of time, he still decided to trim it down and reapplied. In 2008, with the inspiration by the works of others that he has known, he led himself winning the magazine’s Top Prize when he was 34 years old. The title was changed to Accel World because people commented the title sounded stupid and lame.               Accel World and Sword Art Online were few of his successful works. These two pieces of works were both released in alternating months. This was possible for him because the Sword Art Online series had an original script in the first place. The concept for “Accel World” came from fighting games. He thought it would be neat if people could turn the world into a fighting game just by thinking while in the middle of the street. However, it would be too dangerous to be spacing out in the real world, so he made the brain burst setting. Right after his publication, his editor, Kazuma Miki, read Sword Art Online from Kawahara's website and decided to get it novelized. For Sword Art Online volume 2, Kawahara wrote using his experience playing MMOs. For Sword Art Online volume 3, Kawahara stated he wanted to write a scenario where two people from the same house were both diving without either one knowing; hence, the "Fairy Dance" arc was written. Sword Art Online is one of the international well-liked novels that reaches its 21st volume as the latest. His name rolls out not only in all Japan but has reach intercontinental.

SERENADE (LYRICS)
Just your smile, then I died  Only to be revived by you  There’s the feeling I can’t hide  Just loving you out of the blue
Having you right here beside me  Feels like I am in ecstasy  Living a life with my dream  Portrays story we should be in
Letting your glamour tempted me  Just wait there and then you’ll see  Whatever I do, this is crazy  Here I am wishing for you to be my baby

The Peacock and the Crane
After encountering embarrassment from the crane’s words, the showoff peacock continued his way along the river. This time, he made a reflection of himself how useless his pretty feathers if they can’t fly. While walking, he met another crane who has a personality that reverses the other one. This braggart crane provoked the peacock and said:  “Oh man! That feather of yours is very lovely.”  Then the peacock replied: “Thank you, man. I appreciate your admiration.” The crane added annoyingly: “But the sad thing is, with that feather, can you fly as high as I can?” Unlike the show off peacock that he used to be, he didn’t reply any words. This shows how he backed down and accepted his limitations. Unfortunately, the crane is still unfinished annoying the peacock.  He said: “How poor you are. You don’t know how to feel the scenery of having a wider look from the sky, you don’t know the feeling of flying high and to be free from the ground, you’re just like a flightless bird.”  Exasperatedly, the peacock has defended himself:  “You’re right, I may not be able to fly, but I am happy. You know why? It’s because I am who I am. I have beauty with me, maybe not fully inside, but I can make it. I can dance and I can sing. I am adorable in other’s eyes, I can entertain them, I can make them happy, and mostly, I have friends. What about you, are flying everything that you can do?”  Reflecting how lonely his life is, the crane did not answer. “You know man, I know you’re good, but we should realize that you can’t judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree,” the peacock ended and continued his journey.
