Reasoning for editing choices
I chose to use a cross fade effect for the beginning clip of my trailer as I felt this helped the trailer run and introduce itself a lot smoother. however as you see within the deeper footage of the clips I have used hard choppy cuts to show the intensity of the footage on screen. I left in a title card for the amount of time that I did due to the fact that it allows viewers to read whats on screen twice. I also changed the colouring of the font on screen to an icy blue tone to make it stand out as it works as an oxymoron, due to them being complete opposites.

Emotion in this trailer captures a high level of dramatic emotion due to the soundtrack implemented in the background, which then causes my trailer to fall under the narrative of anti - realist. The pace of this trailer steadily increases along with the rhythm of the trailer soundtrack as the action matches the sound. Within this trailer characters are in jeopardy of losing their lives due to Thanos taking control of all infinity stones and killing all members of the avengers with one click.

Another piece of advice that I received was from Alex and that was for me to enlarge the size of the video on screen within my trailer edit. I decided to take on this piece of advice as I wished to change the size myself however I didn’t know how to in the first place.

A piece of advice that i was given by a member of my class, is that sometimes the dramatic sound was perfectly on point with the action and some of it was slightly off. I have chosen not to change this as it was identified as not incredibly noticeable, and only noticed because he was examining my edit multiple times.

This is the final product within my trailer edit. As you can see from this screenshot i have met the time limit requirements of over 1 minute 30 and under 2 minutes. I have added effects like cross dissolve effects on certain scenes, and voice over effects from youtube.

This is the font and colouring that I changed my title sequence to. This icy blue tone was chosen because i was recommended to choose a colour that would stand out in comparison to the background on screen.

Here we can see my first final product for the trailer edit. feedback i received on this trailer edit was to change the font on my introduction. And narrow the edit down to under 2 minutes , to reach time requirements.
