faye did not HESITATE.  she knew exactly what to say, she did not stutter.  those boys gave her a home, gave her a blanket, gave her half of their damn sandwich, and she was going to protect them.

this was the most sober we’ve seen her all season, and I think the most of her personality outside of drugs. Chloe Cherry did a magnificent job with Faye this season.

If I learned anything from cinema appreciation about extreme close ups, either they’re both showing themselves as very vulnerable or one of them is going to die. Some people might not like this play episode idea, but I think this episode gave us a closer look on these characters. We got to see the sweet moments between Rue and Lexi. We saw the different variations of how Cassie reacted to something and how Lexi reacted. And it just let us know more about Maddy. Rue isn’t that close to Maddy so what she narrated for the audience was stuff that everyone else could see, but Lexi let us see more behind the confidence and the glitter.
