unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.

anyway, never listen to what antis have to say about "DID isn't quirky and fun!!!" because DID/OSDD or not, traumagenic or not, you are allowed to love your system. you are allowed to have a good relationship with your headmates and to enjoy being plural and to embrace yourself as a system. suffering is not a requirement of plurality, and being miserable is not required to be a more valid system.

I listened to the Underworld Saga today and it was the first time I cried because of Epic, I expected it to feel emotional, but damn, also spoiler warning

In The Underworld, the soldiers, the infant, Polites, and his mum with no time to recover in-between, I cried at the part with his mother, the "bye mom" at the end and then the music getting louder. I knew Odysseus was going to find his mum in the underworld, I knew, but I was not prepared, holy shit

I was ready for the soldiers in The Underworld, I was ready for Monster, I was mostly ready for No Longer You, but I was not ready for his mum, like

He didn't know she was dead, she still wanted to wait for him even though she died, this is the only goodbye he gets, a quick goodbye when she's already gone

About a week or so ago I asked Apollo to help with my pain while trying to sleep, I was laying in bed and, like usual, that hurt to do, and I was having trouble falling asleep. As soon as I asked the pain was almost all gone, and I almost cried, that was what I've been missing out on? It was so nice

I didn't expect it to last more than that night but my pain whole trying to sleep has been almost non-existent since and I'm so grateful

Thank you Lord Apollon, I gave you nothing for it and you helped me anyway, and continued helping me even when I didn't ask, I am so incredibly grateful

The first of several red wolf pairs was recently released into the wild by USFW, and the Facebook comments on the official announcement are of course filled with uneducated hunters and self-proclaimed “wildlife biologists” labeling them “vermin,” “coyotes,” or “not real wolves,” and openely promising to shoot or trap them to “protect” the deer and turkeys. The red wolf project is incredibly personal to me, and it’s absolutely nauseating to see cruel, selfish humans threaten the lives of animals I know and have cared for. 

Red wolves (Canis rufus) are native to the southeastern United States. We have fossil evidence dating them back at least 10,000 years. Recent DNA evidence (2021) suggests their presence in North America may predate even gray wolves and coyotes, making it impossible for the species to be simply wolf-coyote hybrids as was once widely believed. The American Society of Mammology recognizes them as a distinct species, and they are protected under the Endangered Species Act.

Red wolves are a separate, unique species. Red wolves are part of the natural ecosystem of the southeastern United States, and they have been here long before European colonists ever arrived. Red wolves belong on their ancestral land. They are considered critically endangered by the IUCN Red List, and killing one carries grave legal consequences under federal law. Conservation is about maintaining a healthy planet of both predators and prey, not preserving overpopulations of game species so there’s plenty to go around for recreational hunters. 

Save the American red wolf.

Thanks so much! I managed to take half a day off of work today and I'm heading down to a place called Galveston Island that has several really nice birdwatching spots.

I'd say Hermes fir money, he's god of the markets and has helped me get a job before, any gods that you're close too might be good as well

Hermes can also help with communication, things like getting a message through to people and understanding things

Hestia might be able to help with family/home related stuff

Athena for planning for the future and things, she might help supply wisdom and strategy to help budget money and prepare for future struggles

I think any god may be able to help in their own way, but Hermes would be my go-to for any financial situation

Guys without going too much into details my family is having many issues due to money things

What deities should I pray for money relate things, and for family related things I can't really think clearly so I don't really know..
