Tinatapos na ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ang report nito sa investigation on the surge in the importation of motor vehicles ng bansa, na nagpapahiwatig na ang gobyerno patungo sa pagpapataw ng safeguard measure against imported cars upang maprotektahan ang domestic industry mula sa onslaught of imports. Iniulat ng Bureau of Import Services (BIS) Director na si Luis M. Ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), kasama ang Philippine Trade Training Center, ay virtually launched ng isang programa na naglalayong magbigay ng business mentoring at training para sa displaced at retrenched workers dahil sa pandemya. Ayon sa DTI, ang programa ay tinawag na Building an Entrepreneurial Society of Tomorrow Bootcamp: Accept, Adapt, and Act (BEST Bootcamp: 3A), ay nagsasagawa ng isang integrated approach gamit ang lectures, case studies, business pitching workshop, mentoring, recital, at drillmaster session. Halos 75-80 na kalahok ang mapipili na sumailalim sa buong programa sa mentoring at training. Bibigyan din sila ng mga livelihood kits kapag natapos nila ang programa.
