Okay okay, there's a perfectly reasonable explanation-- you'll see.

So in our world, humans are- Pretty scarce. I was a serial killer, basically, killing to survive. My name was known, I was powerful. Though I didn't have a group--

Albi came from a group. He came from what the survivors called the Dusk Anarchists, which were basically a large group of arsonists who wreaked havoc. When he found me, he'd split off from them.

So a serial killer and an arsonist. What happened, you might ask? Well, our world was overtaken by a Plague engineered to only kill organisms with human genetics. Animals would become infected, but would never die. Instead the animals became hunters, and attacked everything to spread the infection. The two main groups of Plague spreaders were the Plague Dogs and the Plague Crows.

Albi found me while trying to kill a Plague Crow before it alerted the Dogs. Luckily, we managed. That's how we met. Basically he'd saved my life, I tallied that one.

Then, I saved his when this asshole guy named Fredrick showed up. Apparently Fredrick was supposed to have died, and used to work with Albi as a Dusk Anarchist. He blamed Albi for getting stuck in the fire and tried to kill him, though obviously I didn't let that happen. I stabbed Fredrick 17 times in the chest and put him where he belonged.

Blah blah blah surviving and other stuff until eventually we come up on this MASSIVE city that was the original safe haven. We thought this place would be safe, for some unknown reason. It was basically our Last City, and we thought we'd find some kind of civilization or supplies. Turns out this entire time, Albi's been dealing with some weird amnesia. Memories are triggered by the discovery of his parents. Dead, unsurprisingly, but still shocking enough to break past the walls that were put up in his head.

Then he remembered his sister. Her name was Ebony and she was a BITCH. Apparently, she worked as a young apprentice to the bitch man who MADE the Plague. She took up the work and kept it going. This motherfucker is barely human at this point and has some sort of all-seeing bullshit with the Plague Crows.

Plague Crow attacks me on her command, claws me in the eye. Usually that would mean I would get the Plague and die but there is a way to stop it before it spreads. Though it requires being cut or burned out. Albi did a really fast wide awake surgery on me and cut out my eye to save my life. Now, obviously this fucked me up hardcore. Not only was I Ow but I was now half blind and sick.

Didn't stop me from moving. Albi and I found his sister eventually and after quite the battle she nearly killed him, though with one good throw of Clive Jr, I managed to hit her hard enough on the head to dizzy her out. Enough for me to knock her out of the building even in my delusional state. It wasn't a clean kill, and it wasn't my best work, but eh, it did the job.

Now,, this didn't exactly do much for the apocalypse, but we do have the antidote for the Plague now. And we've been much better off. We've sorta rebuilt part of the last city thing. It's going pretty well, actually. And it's just us, too. No one to interrupt.
