The end of Park Yeon Jin

Moon Dong Eun already told us her plan. She waited until Yeon Jin had fulfilled her dream to have a husband and a child, so that she could rip it away. But how will that happen? I have a theory.

In the beginning of the show Yeon Jin’s mom told her that people with O’s in their name will bring her bad luck. Lets go through all the characters.

Moon Dong Eun

Park Yeon Jin

Ha Ye Sol

Ha Do yeoung

Jeon Jae Joon

Choi Hye Jeong

Lee Sa Ra

Son Myeong Oh

Joo Yeo Jeong

Now out of all of these characters only Lee Sa-Ra doesn’t have an O, and it makes sense.

Hye Jeong and Myeong Oh already betrayed her

Dong Eun and Yeo Jeong are obviously against her

The situation with her husband, daughter and her baby daddy speaks for itself.

Sa-Ra has no relation to any of that.

So my theory is that Sa-Ra is going to be Dong Euns first victim in the second season, because she is the only one Dong Eun can’t really use against Yeon Jin.

Next she will exact her revenge on Hye Jeong.

Since Dong Euns main goal is to take Yeon Jin’s family away she is going to need Jae Joon for a bit longer.

I believe that in the end only Ha Do yeoung will have custody of Ye Sol, so perhaps Dong Eun will get Jae Joon and Yeonjin to try to take care of each other. Since Yeon Jin is the shining star of the antagonists I‘ll assume she will win that battle before Moon Dong Eun can finish her revenge.

Now that the glory is out and I have gushed about it…

One thing I disliked in the second part of the season is the lack of Ha Do Yeong and Moon Dong Eun interactions, specifically them playing Gō together. I had looked forward to it.

And the kiss had me dying.

I’m so happy 😭

Its rare for me to enjoy the romance in a plot driven story, usually its poorly developed from my personal experience, but THIS?

Perfection.

Predictions and theories for the next part of the Glory: PART 1

I believe Moon Dong Eun’s revenge on Jeon Jae Joon will end with her using Joo Yeo Jeong character to eliminate him. He is her executioner after all so she will use him for someone, and I think its going to be a male character.

Jae Joon also seemed to be the character who had the most power over her, the one she would most likely need help with. Lee Sa Ra and Choi Hye Jeong aren’t big threats and I think she wants to take care of Park Yeon Jin herself.

That only leaves Jae Joon, who’s not only the sole male character (assuming Myeong Oh is dead and that Ha Do-Yeong will side with Dong Eun) but also makes the most if we go by process of elimination.

This is one of the first non romantic Kdramas I have watched (the other was Squid Game) and so far its one of my top favorite shows I have ever seen!

I have a bit of an obsession with revenge plots but I have mostly read them in manhwa (korean comics) and the Glory surpasses them so far. I can’t wait for part 2 to come out on March 10!
