While wandering around London during the Tier 4 COVID restrictions today, taking in the tranquility of Central London during a pandemic, I came across this statue of Orwell with this quote etched in to the side of Broadcasting House (@bbc). A poignant reminder that I may offend and I may rub people up the wrong way with my views and opinions. But it doesn’t mean I will stop, I will keep researching, I will keep learning, I will keep educating and I will keep speaking up and speaking out. It doesn’t mean that I am correct or right, in fact, I may be wrong but I will continue to test my opinions, views and experience and I am always open to opposing views, sometimes those opposing views need time to sink in.
