So my robot girlfriend has RGBW LEDs all over, right? She usually keeps them just on dim lighting mode, she doesn't want to look like a gaming PC wished to be a real boy.
But I had an idea: I wrote a little program that hooks when her sexual arousal level changes, and follows it back up the event stack to figure out which sense or body part initiated the change. Then my program keeps track of which parts have positively affected her arousal and adjusts her lighting appropriately, but localized to that same part.
So the end result is if I go up to her and whisper some shit about how I'm gonna rail her until she bluescreens, her ears start glowing! I lightly trace my fingers up and down her thighs, and it leaves trails like I'm fingerpainting. I bend over in front of her and she can see down my top, and her eyes start glowing like she's a damaged Terminator.
I'll put the script up on github later for other robots and robotfuckers to play with. Right now we've got some beta testing to do.
When you are alone and have a heart attack. What are you gonna do then?
Take a 2 minute break and read this:
Let's say it's 5:25 pm and you're driving home after an unusually hard day's work.
You are really tired and frustrated. All of a sudden your chest pains. They are starting to radiate in the arm and jaw. It feels like being stabbed in the chest and heart. You're only a few miles away from the nearest hospital or home.
Unfortunately you don't know if you can make it..
Maybe you've taken CPR training, but the person running the course hasn't told you how to help yourself.
How do you survive a heart attack when you're alone when it happens? A person who is feeling weak and whose heart is beating hard has only about 10 seconds before losing consciousness.
1. But you can help yourself by coughing repeatedly and very strongly! Deep breaths before every cough. Coughing should be repeated every second until you arrive at the hospital or until your heart starts to beat normally.
2. Deep breathing gives oxygen to your lungs and coughing movements boost the heart and blood circulation. Heart pressure also helps to restore a normal heartbeat. Here's how cardiac arrest victims can make it to the hospital for the right treatment
3. Cardiologists say if someone gets this message and passes it on to 10 people, we can expect to save at least one life.
4. FOR WOMEN: You should know that women have additional and different symptoms. Rarely have crushing chest pain or pain in the arms. Often have indigestion and tightness across the back at the bra line plus sudden fatigue.
I don’t think a lot of people understand that no matter how progressive or well-read you are, there are always going to be moments in your life where somebody pushes back against something that’s so culturally ingrained you never even considered it before. And you’ll say “Huh, it never occurred to me to challenge this but you’re right,” and that doesn’t mean you were “morally toxic” before, it means you’re a non-omniscient human capable of growth.
Also, some preferred terms for things will change and evolve, and terms we prefer now might eventually be considered gauche or even offensive, and that doesn’t mean you were a bigot at the time for using them. It means we evolved as a society and chose new terminology to reflect that change.
Nobody is a fully formed realisation of progressivism that can predict all shifts and modes of thought. The world will always change, and hopefully you will, too
One day, the US military decided to take a poll to see how the different branches handle a specific situation, in this case a scorpion in a service member’s tent. One representative from each major branch is selected, and each answers privately.
The question was a simple one: “There is a scorpion in your tent. What do you do?”
Army: “I would crush it with my boot and throw it outside.”
Navy: “I would pick it up by the tail and throw it outside.”
Marines: “I’d bite its head off before cooking and eating it.”
Air Force: “I’d call down to the front desk and ask why there’s a tent in my hotel room.”
