Big Announcement Coming up!

Sorry for the radio silence, everyone! Things have been crazy in everyone’s real lives, but the heart is still in the game. An introduction to you

(soon to have better style and art!) No matter who you are, every one gets to live the kind of dating life they want! (or don’t want, but we’ll get to that) In Ineffable Dating, you start out by moving to Soho, living on your own for the first time! Your share a building with none other than the mysterious Madam Tracy, and the Kooky Shadwell. You’ll be given numerous opportunities to decorate and customize your apartment, as well as your personal style! While out and about town, you’ll have the opportunity to work at various locations for money. Maybe you’ll file papers for heaven, perhaps you can convince Aziraphale to let you chase of customers, or maybe you’ll just help out around the town of Tadfield, weeding gardens and watching those neighborhoods! Each activity you do can also increase the ever necessary stats You have three: Charm Intelligence Strength Certain actions will raise or lower certain stats (such as reading to gain intelligence), and each character has a particular stat that will make them more keen towards you. There will also be special events and actions you can do, if your stats are high enough.

And we haven’t forgotten that not everyone dates! At the start of each new game you’ll be given the option to choose between a dating sim and a friendship sim! Most things stay the same, but certain dialogue is different and the goal of the game switches from making significant others to making friends! We’re hard at work getting everything written and put together! And if you’re interested in joining the team, click here!

The Archive Rooms aren’t THAT boring

Okay, they kind of are. But if you can stand the mind numbing hours of sorting through files in there, you might just come across some cool artifacts. And who knows, maybe one of your dates is just dying to get their hands on one!

Much like the sulfur pits of Hell, the Archive Room in Heaven is a searchable location, where you’re likely to come across any number of items to give away as gifts. Included, but not limited to, are:

Book of Prophecy Not that anything inside is accurate. Not everyone can be Agnes Nutter, especially when the angels are pretty good at keeping up on interference these days. But there’s some amusing anecdotes and a few close calls in this one.Might be worth something to a few someones.

Mysterious Horn You’re not really sure who it once belonged to, or even what it does. But it’s probably best to NOT blow it, at least until you ask someone with more knowledge about it. Very well could cause Armageddon (Which we all agree is a bad thing...maybe keep it away from celestial beings, just in case.)

Deactivated Holy Bomb 1, 2, 5! No wait, 3! Yeah, that was it. Not that it really matters. This bomb is so old and dusty it’s never going to work. Guess you’ll have to deal with that bunny on your own. Still, it’s pretty neat looking, and someone might like it for decoration. Or a paper weight. We don’t judge. Would YOU dive head first into a boiling pit of sulfur?

No? Not even to find some cool and unique gifts for your beau? Certain areas in the Ineffable Dating game will allow you to find gits for your dates, and some don’t even cost anything. (Well, they don’t cost money, anyway). In Hell you can visit the boiling pits of sulfur and find some neat things to hand out to whoever you want, and hopefully they’ll like it! And don’t worry, they have sulfur proof suits that only have an 87% fail rate. Totally safe. Here’s a few examples of some of the things you may find.

Fossilized Hell-Hound Print It’s a lot bigger than the paws of hell-hounds you’ve seen so far. Perhaps the hounds have their own version of dinosaurs? Either way, it seems to act like a lucky rabbit's foot, only it’s unlucky. I wouldn’t hold onto it for too long, if I were you.

Baby Hell-Hound Tooth Necklace They say the worst job you can get in Hell is pulling out the baby teeth of hell-hound pups. But whoever pulled these seemed interested in making jewelry of them. It’s rather fashionable, if not a little heavy around the neck.

Toy Flaming Sword What? Where in the heck did you get-Oh. Oh it’s only a model. That explains why it’s so tiny and...made of plastic. Plastic that doesn’t melt. It may not be to scale, but I’m sure there’s some kid out there who’d love to play with it. Or a kid at heart. Stay tuned for more locations and the various things you may find there to come!
