Some progress shots for one of the first pages of my fairy book. Fun fact: I coloured in and edited the fairy from an activity placemat and essentially drew the toadstools from scratch using a blurry red splotch my nanna had in her craft box that was supposed to be a mushroom.

The front cover isn't actually part of the book, it's an old german faber castell pencil tin that I sewed on the other morning while riding the bus.

Not quite done fiddling with this but the painting itself is pretty much finished.

A whole lot of stuff went wrong in the process of this one, including pretty much only having access to half dead purple paint, resulting in my needing to use red and pink burnishing rub to add other colours...
