• Shows pictures of his kids and wife/husband to everyone

• At any given occasion

• His kids are his princes and princesses

• You can give him any tasks, even changing diapers

• Always late of 1 or 2 minutes when he takes them to school

• For some reason, he just can’t be there on time

• He tells you it’s because he realizes they’re growing up so fast and so he hugs them and gives them kisses while he can

• He tells you that with a sheepish smile but you know he’s not sorry in the slightest

• Though, even if he simply can’t say no to them, he knows how to deal with arguments and crises

• He never raises his voice

• He keeps calm, and he always wins

• The brothers he made in the USMC are his kids’ godfathers

• He tries to keep in contact with them as much as he can

• So at least once in 3 months, you’ll take time to do a dinner all together

• He doesn’t spoil his kids out of the blue but when it’s their birthday or Christmas he’ll give them whatever they want and that you can afford

• Loves to watch movies with them or playing sports of any kind

• He just loves playing with them

• He won’t talk about the war when he’s home but he will tell them stories of funny things he did with Leckie, Hoosier, Runner and Sid

• Especially in Melbourne

• Will do everything to hear them laugh and see them laugh

• Best dad ever

And such an underrated character but I love him so much… also sorry this is short and sorry you had to wait so long for this
