بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ In a narration reported by Bukhāri and Muslim from Abu Bakrah Ath-Thaqafi (radiyallāhu ‘anhu) who said that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) stated: ألا أنبئكم بأكبر الكبائر -كررها ثلاثاً- قالوا: بلى يا رسول الله! قال: الإشراك بالله، وعقوق الوالدين، وكان متكئاً فجلس، فقال: ألا وقول الزور ألا وشهادة الزور “Shall I not inform you of the greatest of sins?” He repeated the question three times. So the people said: “Yes indeed, O Allah’s Messenger!” So he said to them: “Associating partners with Allah in worship and being bad to one’s parents.” The Messenger was leaning back, so now he sat up and continued: “And indeed it is also false speech and bearing false witness.” Ibn Abbasرَضِيَ ٱللّٰهُ عَنْهُ‎  Said : "I do not know of any action that brings one closer to Allāh than dutifulness to the mother." #Call_to_Tawheed #Seek_assistance_from_Allāh_alone_not_the_Prophet_ﷺ Narrated by ‘Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allāh be pleased with him): Abu Bakr said, “Come, let us seek the aid of the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) from this hypocrite.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, لَا يُقَامُ لِي إِنَّمَا يُقَامُ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى “That is not done for me. Verily, that is only done for Allah Almighty.” [Musnad Aḥmad 22097] Narrated by ‘Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, إنَّه لا يُستَغاثُ بي وإنما يُستَغاثُ باللهِ وحدَه “Indeed ther's no seeking aid from me, and seeking aid is only for Allāh (Glorified and Sublime be He) alone.” [Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abdul-Wahāb said it's Thābit (proven, strong) in Ar-Rasā`il ash-Shakhsīyyah 45, and Al-Haythamī said (with the addition عزَّ وجلَّ 'Glorified and Sublime be He') it's a hasan (good) hadīth in Majma' az-Zawā'id 10/162] Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said: إِذَا سَأَلْتَ فَاسْأَلْ اللَّهَ وَإِذَا اسْتَعَنْتَ فَاسْتَعِنْ بِاللَّهِ “If you ask, ask from Allāh. If you seek help, seek help from Allāh.” [Jāmi' at-Tirmidhī 2516] “And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allāh, any other ilāh (god), of whom he has no proof; then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely, Al-Kāfirūn (the disbelievers in Allāh and in the Oneness of Allāh, polytheists, pagans, idolaters) will not be successful”⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ [al-Mu’minūn 23:117]⁣⁣⁣ “And who is more astray than one who calls on (invokes) besides Allāh, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them? #Placing_the_hands_onthe_chest_during_Salah عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ :صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ اَلنَّبِيِّ ‏ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ اَلْيُمْنَى عَلَى يَدِهِ اَلْيُسْرَى عَلَى صَدْرِهِ [صححه المباركفوري في تحفة الأحوذي 1/540، قال ابن الملقن صحيحه أو حسن في تحفة المحتاج 1/336، صححه العظيم آبادي في عون المعبود 2/268، وايضا قال لا شيء في الباب أصح من حديث وائل المذكور في عون المعبود 2/265، صححه ابن خزيمة في صحيحه 479] [قال شيخ ابن باز رحمه الله سنده قوي في حاشية بلوغ المرام 209] Narrated by Wā'il bin Hujr (may Allāh be pleased with him): “I prayed with the Prophet (ﷺ) and he put his right hand on his left (and then placed them) on his chest.” [Graded authentic (Sahīh) by Al-Hāfidh Mubārakfūrī in Tuhfat al-Ahwadhī 1/540, Ibn al-Mulaqqin (Shāfi'ī scholar) said it is hasan (good) or sahīh (authentic) in Tuhfat al-Muhtāj 1/336, & Al-Adhīm Ābādī graded it authentic (Sahih) in al-'Awn al-Ma'būd 2/268 & he also said, “There's nothing in this chapter more sound than the hadīth via Wā'il reported.” al-'Awn al-Ma'būd 2/265. Ibn Khuzaymah graded it authentic (Sahīh) in Sahīh Ibn Khuzaymah 479] [Shaykh bin Bāz (may Allāh have mercy on him) said, “It's chain of narrators is strong” in the commentary on Bulūgh Al-Marām 209] *As there's dispute over the authenticity of this hadīth, hence the reason the scholars who authenticated it have been mentioned above.
