I was about to do a comic inspired by this au but when I was scrolling for references I saw Twilight's design and my playlist played "Not Tomorrow - Silent Hill 1". I felt a strange kind of sadness and I felt that that was a sign to draw him.

I'm not completely happy with his face but it was getting late.

I'm almost finishing a request I had but I felt like drawing something for me.

Day 6 - I'll follow you

Today's trope is Hurt/Comfort! thanks to @amyred for giving me the idea for this day!

Legend was hurt and had to keep going with the rest, there's no time for a break even if he needed. Ravio didn't like this.

He knows that Mr. Hero is completly capable of taking care of himself in battle, but needed help during the aftermath of each one. So he decides to come with them, to follow Legend and help him to take care of himself.

Legend didn't like this, he didn't want to put Ravio in danger. At the end he wasn't given a choice, so he let him come with them. Deep inside he felt himself a little more comforted, being close to him now at any moment wasn't too bad.

Sudoku puzzle blanket!

I came up with this idea when I was thinking about how to properly randomize the colors in a granny square blanket.

You'll need 9 different colors (I used white + 8 shades of purple) and 9 squares of each color. Assign each color a number 1-9. Get a completed sudoku puzzle (or solve one yourself) and start assembling!

I had my squares organized in this bin while I was working and kept this picture saved in my phone with the sudoku puzzle picture to make sure I didn't mix any of the numbers up.

What better Zelda to start with then the first?

Sun i think by virtue of being the first redesigned will probably be the closest to her game counterpart, I altered her dress to be a dress version of the knights tunic, added the ribbons up her boots to invoke the vibe of her goddess sandals and to match her hair ribbons, i imposed the goddesses bracelets onto her leather arm guards and designed her a sailcloth, its more shawl like then the one she made for Link, also she gets a beret to match Karane, i assume its a female version of the dumb windsock hat the boys have to wear

(and i spent too long making a lil background for her)

All of the redesigns will collectively be under the Legend of Zelly au tag, don't expect me to post very often i am primarily doing this for my own fun and am not really focusing on one character at a time, its a miracle Sun is done at all

I've said before this did start from Linked Universe but has branched off so far I've disconnected it and am making it its own thing that won't be associated, the main thing that will be staying the same is how the games are collected up and condensed, eg Link to the Past Zelda will be the same Zelda in Link's Awakening, Link Between World's, Oracle of Age's and Season's, and Triforce Hero's, and some nicknames may be the same

I've also said how this started as a Zelda redesign project, it has since expanded much further so don't be surprised if you see a random smattering of other Zelda characters tossed in as well, i think the only people i will not be redesigning are the Link's themselves but i may lose that battle with myself so who knows

Sun is a little bit of an exception but alot of the designs will come prepackaged with far too much world building and other lore headcannons just for funnies on top

Also designs may not be final, by virtue of hop skipping around between several characters at once i may post a character and then come back to it later with different ideas

if i'm being absolutely completely totally honest i think that "it wasn't you" doesn't go far enough in absolving someone of the guilt of being the subject of a brainwashing or mind control plot. because at the end of the day, it was you. it was your body, your mind, potentially even your soul, being stripped of its autonomy, intimately violated and turned against you as much as anyone else. it's a kind of assault, and should be treated as such, especially in more mature narratives. i think that "it wasn't your fault" and "your shame at being made helpless and unable to control your own body and mind's involuntary responses is understandable, but you are not in any way irredeemable or unforgivable because of what was done to you" are also necessary reassurances. and i think that there should be lingering resentment in spite of words of forgiveness and miscommunication and long-term post-traumatic consequences also.
