Not only did I have the opportunity to see this amazing exhibit in the Stamp Art Gallery, I also got to be a part of a spoken word presentation/performance with the gallery’s guest artist Kyle Kogut.  The experience was so different from anything I’ve ever done before.  But it was incredible to be a part of Kyle Kogut’s first “performance art” project.  His ability to pull from many different genres (such as Bruce Springsteen lyrics, the Satanic Bible, and a Chevrolet car manual) to create a cohesive work is truly inspiring.  The exhibit is on view until March 17th.  I highly recommend visiting the Stamp Gallery to see it.

I saw this at the Hoff Theater in Stamp as part of the SEE Spring Movie Series.  It was a very...odd movie.  While the filmography was pretty good, the plot was very bizarre and almost nonexistent.  Throughout the movie, it was very unclear what point the movie was trying to make.  There were way too many loose ends.  It really just seemed like they made a sequel to the original Blade Runner simply for the sake of making a sequel.

I attended the UMD Fall Choral Collage at the Clarice. Performances from the UMD Men's Chorus, UMD Treble Choir, and the University Chorale. Two of my friends were in it. Wonderful singing from everyone. #CPSAPentathalon #music
