What's important to me is that Daryl and Carol stay true to themselves, get to go on adventures together as an established couple, confront their traumas in powerful ways, and help each other heal and grow and get stronger. Those adventures could happen anywhere. I don't care. They just need to be in the right hands.

Thinking about the first time Caryl “get intimate” and how it will probably be ladened full of tension and hesitance equally. Both Carol and Daryl deal with feelings of not being good enough for the other which would only culminate during a storm of hand brushes and swollen lips. One’s fingers trace the edge of clothing, causing unsure gazes to flit up and meet as they both still - both battling internally with wanting this so badly but also wanting to make sure beyond all reproach this is what the other wants …
